Freeman might have three down potential.
They traded up for Kerryon and drafted an o-lineman in round 1.. So it shows you how they value him and the run game. However, he'll have little three down potential with Riddick around.

I think Freeman will have better rookie year, but I don't trust Denver for more than a year or 2. That team still needs a QB long term.
Johnson has 3 down potential if Riddick leaves or gets cut,. He is a free agent after the 2019 season, but cap wise may get cut after 2018. That would save about 3 mil. I also trust Detroits offense long term.
TLDR: Freeman year 1 and potential 2. Johnson long term.

I like KJ by a hair. He will be the clear number 1 going in at this point and at 20 years old has a great future. Freeman should respond well to the blocking scheme in Denver, he was rode hard at Oregon. Its going to be good to watch these guys.

I've long been a Kerryon advocate, and his new team trading up to grab him gives him great opportunity for immediate impact. I love his skill set for sustained success. Freeman to the probably more-RB-needy Broncos is also nice, but if choosing between the two I'll go with "my guy" here and grab Kerryon.

Freeman has a lot of millage put on him at Oregon. Believe mayock said over 1000 touches and playing in one of the premier conferences he has taken alot hits. Kerryon played in a hard conference but he should have some better longevity based on his touches in college and his age.

He had something like 450 fewer college touches than Freeman. I prefer Johnson's upside.
