Revised Michael Thomas deal:

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side would you rather have in this new deal?

Revised Michael Thomas deal:

Postby Markdavis3033 » Thu Apr 26, 2018 2:42 pm

It didn’t take long for me to wake up and realize how bad the previous deal that I listed earlier in the forum. The reason why I was even entertaining it was because to me, Gronk could retire at any year. For all I know, anyone knows, he could be done after this year. He’s only going to play as long as Brady is around....which if Giselle has any say will be sooner rather than later.

After I rejected the deal, the owner countered:

I would trade Michael Thomas, and a 2019 3rd
For
Stefon Diggs, Devin Funchess 3.9 and 4.1
(The owner is pushing for me to include Randal Cobb in the deal)

My depth at wr worries me a bit. But I still hate loosing Thomas.

Start 11 on offense:
1-2 QBs
2-5 RBs
3-6 WRs
1-2 TEs
K
P

Draft picks:
1.12
2.7
3.10
4.10

My Roster:

QBs
Brady
Jimmy G.

RBs:
Freeman
McCaffrey
Ingram
Lewis
Jeremy Hill
Braeda

WRs
Thomas
Fitzgerald
Chris Hogan
Golden Tate
Randal Cobb
Carlos Henderson

Thomas side for me bigtime. I feel like Digss has 1-3 good games to start the season and then fizzles out... plus, Cousins doesn't have a history of feeding any one WR really. Funchess is solid but I think Carolina drafts a WR high in this or next year's draft.

3rd and 4th rounders do not have any impact on this deal whatsoever.

Much better, but I'd still keep Thomas. Maybe if he kept Henry in the deal and added Diggs, then I'd consider it. You can take out all that fluff too if he really thinks his 3.09 and 4.01 is making a difference.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Diggs, Funchess, and Henry is solid value for a stud wr who could be loosing Brees in 1-2 years.

Only problem is...he won’t include Diggs WITH Henry.

We also start 11 on defense so the 3.9 and 4.1 have a little bit of value.
