Price check on Luck

I have him in a PPR league and have just been holding hoping that he is coming back soon, but honestly I'm starting to get concerned with his long term outlook. I have a guy offering me an early 2nd, but I'm thinking I would rather hold on to him for that. Where are you guys putting his value?

He's a hold for me at that price. If you are that nervous about him I might try and package him with a later pick to move into top 4 of the draft. Then replace him with a young rookie with your later first/early second.

He's an obvious hold. His value is at all time lows, and all it takes is him to start throwing again for it to bounce back, which btw, he's on schedule to do. If you own Luck you need to ignore all these reports, Luck is on his own timetable set by his rehab team, and he's already said he won't stray from it (because he thinks that's what set him back before).

there's no reason to be worried as of yet. If he hasn't started throwing by July/August, then you can hit the panic button. But when his value is this low, you can pretty much only go up.

No point in selling low and kicking yourself later if he comes back healthy and plays well. If not, I doubt you'll kick yourself (at least not as hard) for missing out on a 2nd round pick.

A buddy of mine was offered Marriota and a 3.2 for Luck. I told him to hold off. Should he be taking that one though?

I only have 1 share of Luck, but I also have Brees & Trubisky on that team, so I feel comfortable with keeping him as a hold.

I think if you can get a decent QB back and a little bit extra, you take it. I'm on the side that Luck is done as an elite player, and he may come back but he will not be elite again. If he can stay healthy once he does come back.....if he does.

Not that I am selling my 1 Luck share, but remember, we all thought he would be back last season. So until he is throwing with no setbacks, it is hard to trust any report about he is on schedule.

I had a guy offer me Mariota straight up for Luck a month ago and I turned it down. I may have to offer it back to him and take what I can get.
