Amari + 1.02 for 1.01 *Poll*

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is this fair for Saquon?

Amari + 1.02 for 1.01 *Poll*

Postby Mkh3225 » Mon Apr 23, 2018 11:33 pm

Ok so this is purely hypothetical as the guy who own 1.01 is such a Saquon nut that I know he'd never trade him pretty much in all circumstances but is this a fair offer for Saquon? I think it's a pretty solid deal but then again I'm still an Amari believer and I don't think I'm alone on that front. It'll be Interesting to see what the consensus is here as I know the Saquon hype train just cannot be stopped it seems but I'm just really curious to find out.

Give: Amari + 1.02

Get: 1.01 (Saquon obviously)

Your poll is awkwardly worded. Maybe redo and put “Amari side by a lot”

Value is heavily on the Amari side. Wait until Guice lands on the Bucs and Barkley lands on the Browns. To me, that’s a likely scenario that closes some of the gap between Barkley and everyone else. And makes this trade even more lopsided.

I can’t believe you went there and said Barkley to the Browns! Please no. I’m not the biggest Amari guy but that’s not a good deal.

Amari/1.02 side and it is Not close.
Every draft for the last 7 years has had one of these guys being touting as a "generational" talent. Every year (with the exception of Zeke), their value has declined from the hype levels. It's nothing but a value trap.

If Barkley ends up on any of those teams with dumpster fire offensive lines that are picking in the top 8 as of now, his value will go down.

Clicked but not sure I answered correctly; tough wording, it happens.
I'd keep Cooper and 1.02.

I think it’s fair but a lot of 1.01 owners would want more and reject. Probably most from what I’ve seen here.

It is fair but no one selling 1.01 is taking "fair".

2017
Tampa Bay Buccs - 27th in rushing
Cleveland Browns - 18th

2016
Tampa Bay - 24th
Cleveland Browns 19th

Not sure exactly how the Buccs are a better scenario?

Piling on the poorly worded question...had to read it multiple times before voting Yes. This is an overpayment for Barkley.

If I owned Cooper and the 1.02 I would instantly reject this offer. Ludicrous IMO. I am not even sure Barkley will end up being the best RB out of this draft, and while I cannot blame 1.01 owners for trying, some people need to give them a different perspective.

I’d much rather have Amari and 1.02. That’s an overpay, maybe not in the long run but you basically need Barkley to be Zeke to have that come out in your favor.

I voted "no by a lot" assuming it means do not make that overpay for the 1.01.
