Would I be crazy to trade 11th and 16th for Anthony Miller? Half-PPR

This is kind of a hypothetical, but it’s my first full offseason of dynasty so bear with me.

I’ve developed a deep draft crush on Anthony Miller. I see he’s currently going around 9th-14th in most half-PPR mocks I’m seeing. Obviously this is all subject to change, but that’s what it looks like currently. I own 11, 16, and 17 and have a potentially interested trade partner at 9. Would it be worth situationally moving up to act decisively on him or do you think it wiser to keep my back to backs at 16/17?

I would be very surprised if he wasn't available at 11, he countered very well make it to 16. Maybe Offer 11+17 for 9 or so if you want, but I think you are fine staying put.

I agree with above, wouldn't be surprised at all if he's there at 11. That seems like a lot to pay for him right now prior to the draft.

Won't he even be there at 16?? I mean I can say that I haven't looked at a ton of mocks since I just use my own personal rankings but like others said I would def stay put. I am surprised he is going in the 1st round in mock drafts.

he'll be there at 11 for sure. He'll likely still be there at 16 as well. I wouldn't be shocked to see him there in the 20s, and could see him fall pretty far down the draft boards if he goes to a bad situation.

All that said, if he's your "must have" guy in this years draft, then do what you have to do to get him. But I wouldn't do that deal, I would almost guarantee he'll prob be around at 11 (and even that is early).

*Miller isn't even in my projected top 24, I speculate that most drafts will be RB heavy in the first two rounds as a by product of last yrs rookies.

Just following up; this got a little dicey after my Bears drafted him and the "under the radar" factor totally got blown to bits since like 7/10 of us are big Bears fans. Fortunately, I managed to trade up to 1.5 for Rashaad Penny while still holding onto my 2.1 (11th) and from what I hear it's looking like a damn near lock that Miller will get to me despite a couple guys toying with the idea in the late first. Thanks for the tips.

I think 2.01 is about right for Miller.

Yeah, no such luck. Single QB, single TE. I did end up getting him at 2.1, but had to pass on Royce Freeman, who had slipped to me. THAT was a tough one to pass on... just a matter of never being able to live with myself if I had this conviction on Miller then talked myself out of it and he went on to be great.
