AJ Green for Corey Davis and 1.07

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AJ Green for Corey Davis and 1.07

Postby RS_Smoove » Mon Apr 23, 2018 7:59 am

10 team league. Put Green on the block to see what would be offered. This offer was just made. So I'd give Green and get Corey Davis and the 7th pick this year. Thoughts?

Thanks

Looks like you are a pretty strong contender so keeping AJ would help this year IMO. However, I think the value is slightly on the Davis side.

With 2Qb, I think that's pretty fair, you should land a top qb prospect, really depends on how high you are on Davis, but I'd probably take that

With that roster and those starting requirements I think I'd take the upside of Davis and the pick, which could turn into another quality QB; you could really use some stronger Luck insurance.

You are competing now but with the other WR you already have, I definitely think you can afford to move Green.

I also like the value of the deal in a vacuum as well

Davis and pick for me. You won’t be able to get a package like that for Green in 2 years

Looking at your roster, does it even matter? Your fantasy team makes most other fantasy teams look like random teammates I got on the old Call of Duty games:

I'm saying you go with Davis and the 1.07 here just on the off chance it doesn't work out for you.

That's pretty good value for Green.

Also, that GIF made me laugh.

lol at the gif. I did win the league last year. During the startup draft 2 years ago, I zigged when everyone else zagged. Ended up with a lot of value picks but also got some older guys so looking to deal before it's too late :)

I'd take Davis side for more long term value. In 2QB draft at 1.07 you'll likely either get the QB4/5 or one of the top 3 RB's which all look pretty good options on top of Davis.
My PPR dynasties (QB/RB/WR/TE/FL):

Under construction...just noticed teams I had shown were very different than where they are now (lots of trading last 12 months). LOL

Davis side for me. Like others have said, you won’t get that value for him much longer, imo.

I'd go with AJG here.

I'd bet that Davis will never put up a top 12 WR season (rich mans Brian Quick, but not that rich), meanwhile AJG has a chance to put up at least 2-3 more. It feels like the right move because you'd be getting youth back and restocking the cupboards, but personally I'd rather win for the next couple years instead of constantly guessing if "this will the game" that I can count on Davis. Fantasy titles mean more than "sexy" rosters with piles of unrealized potential...

The 1.07 is nice, but it doesn't bridge the gap for me, although it's close. Maybe after the draft and I know landing spots I MIGHT change my mind...but I doubt it.
