I have been offered Engram for my 1.5. Here is the kicker for this league. I have mentioned before during roster cut downs that one guy released Allen Robinson and another released Corey Davis. So now the rookie/FA draft is going to be heavier by two. I have the 1.5 and 1.7 which is going to give me a pretty solid choices when I get on the clock. The guy making the offer also has the 1.4 which I would love to get in the deal as well while still holding the 1.5. I am open to multiple player deal as well.

His notables are Ajayi, Miller, K.Benjamin, Diggs ,Shepard, Woods, and Engram

I have told him I would counter if I didn't accept the offer.

So question is take the deal, hold or what counter should get it done?

Easy decline for me - I am not high on Engram as a true TE and with those two other players being available the 1.05 is even more valuable.

Tough call, you really don't have a dire need at TE since you already have Howard and Njoku... I'd see if you could maybe offer one of them + for Engram instead. Either that or try to get the 1.04 instead but it sounds like he's liking the prospects of back to back picks at 1.04 and 1.05 as well

Reading this is making my head hurt......ARob and Corey Davis are on waivers????? You are all set at TE. Keep the 1.05. In a 1TE league, this is not close.

I wouldn’t trade the 1.05 for Engram even without those two guys being available in the draft. In you situation, it’s an even easier decline.

Edit: As far as trading for the 1.04, I would see if you can get out from under Jordan Howard before the Bears draft his replacement. I’d start with Howard for 1.04 straight up and be willing to add another halfway decent piece, like Crabtree, Parker or Moncrief.

I was going to say the same thing as M-Dub about not trading the 1.05 for Engram even if Arob and Davis weren't available in the draft. Not sure a counter of you asking for the 1.04 makes sense, because he's clearly after your 1.05. Countering and going after his 1.04 would just basically be making a completely new/different offer. Unless you're offering your 1.05 for Engram+, I don't know how much interest the other owner is going to have.

1.05 is worth about 10x engram in your situation

The Bears are drafting his replacement after two 1000+ seasons? Weird I haven't seen this info anywhere else? Why not just hold him until after the draft Bears have bigger needs than RB

To OP I would keep your 1.05

I don’t have a crystal ball, but he strikes me as someone who is in danger of losing significant touches if the Bears draft an RB in the 3rd or 4th round (or earlier, obviously). He’s been productive on the ground for two seasons and if I spent an early 2nd on him two years ago, I’d be elated with the return I got. But I think there’s a pretty decent chance his sell-high window slams shut by the end of the weekend, so that’s why I’d hesitate to hold him til after the draft. He’s a horrible pass catcher and he was a 5th round pick by the previous regime. I don’t think it’s at all far-fetched to think the Bears draft a more versatile back who is big enough to handle early down work but at least not a full-blown liability in the passing game. In a draft where ARob and Davis are available, I’d move him for the 1.07 or higher. Speaking of which...

Yeah, that’s just awful. My league is pretty shallow, with only has 17 players on our active rosters and a max of two IR spots, but even then Davis and ARob managed to stay rostered all year last year. Hell, I play in a redraft league with only three keepers and I still hung onto ARob all year. Haha.
