Help w rebuild - Dalvin edition

Team listed in sig. Have gotten a few offers for Dalvin recently. I have read through the archives and have an idea of what would be a 'snap' accept for Dalvin. My question is should I be trading Dalvin? I took this team over a few years ago and have completely revamped the roster.

Should I be holding Dalvin and looking to add RB depth in the 2nd round, or replace Dalvin with an early (top 4) pick and add on some extra 2nds or 3rds to help add depth.

Well, depends on the offer. What pick? How many seconds? I like Cook. But with his injury now, I would be ok moving him if I found the right deal. I did.

I've had three teams contact me. I would only make the trade if it included the 1.03 or 1.02. But even then I think Dalvin is too important to my current roster that I would ask for at least a second this year and next.

The place you really need depth is Rb. I would just hold cook and add someone in the 2nd like a roc Thomas or bo scourbough some one who will be there but has alot of upside .

I'm thinking I need to see who falls to 16 overall, but there has been a lot of Dalvin trade threads about changing him out for one of the top three backs and getting a little extra back. I love Dalvin from college, but a three game sample sizes worries me a little.

What do you think about trying to trade for an older RB. Maybe Ingram or McCoy? Am I ready to seriously compete or will their last years be wasted on my roster?

If you can get the 1.02 and something else on top, I'd sell. If not, no point in moving a guy who's going into his 2nd year during a rebuild.

I'd move one of them, you've got three young TEs with great potential who should fetch high prices. Seems like an asset to diversify. Target a rebuilder.

i agree, move one of your TEs for a RB....Howard is probably valued lowest of all, so no sense moving him right now (i still believe)
i would move njoku...
i believe in cook and if you can get 1.02 right now, i would do it...otherwise, wait until after the NFL draft, so make a move...need to see where the RBs land

What do you think Njoku would be worth in terms of a starting RB? I tend to over value players because it has been such an uphill battle to overturn this roster

What “tier” of RB should I be targeting for Njoku or Hunter?

That’s a tough one. None of your tight ends get you into a great tier of RBs in my opinion. I might sell Hunter Henry though cause his value is arguably highest due to situation (not necessarily perceived talent) and if you are a rebuild having the Chargers starting tight end with Phil Rivers not gonna do a lot for you in the short term.

Keep Dalvin, you're probably not competing this season, thats a nice young core.
