1.3 or 2019 picks

Postby lunchbox12 » Sat Apr 21, 2018 6:03 am

I’m a top 3 team in my league, but my team is old as dirt.

I’m in talks with an owner or trading my 1.3 for 2 2019 1sts.. 1 playoff team, 1 borderline playoff team.

Which side would Is the better deal?

Stick with the 1.3, if the picks are later, then you will prefer Chubb.

if the 2019's are going to be back half of round 1, I'd rather have Chubb

The safe choice is to keep the 1.03.

If you are looking long term, and like the 2019 class, then the riskier (but potentially higher reward) play is the 2 2019 picks. However whether the risk is worth it or not is really dependant on your league size (ie 10-12-14-16), roster requirements, and your actual roster (old as dirt means exactly what?).

So in essence pretty much everyone is going to tell you to keep the 1.03 without either more info or more coming back. ;)

And there are always more options. You can always choose door #3 (find a different/better deal with another owner).
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Old as dirt meaning my core guys are: (12 team superflex)

Brees, Rodgers, Cam

T Coleman, CJA, coleman, Duke, Lynch, D Murray, Booker

AB, Julio, Hopkins, Sanders, Cobb, Coleman, Decker, Robby Anderson

Eifert, Rudolph, higbee, Watson.

So not crazy old... but my starters are all old, and my young guys are still very unproven.
Also I have 2 2019 1sts right now... so adding would give me 4
