1.02 Trade

Postby eaglesforthewin » Fri Apr 20, 2018 1:49 pm

I have been told I have been ripped off and I have been told I ripped the other guy off. Interested to see what is said in here. I know I probably should have waited until I was on the clock to make the move, but I was somewhat worried Guice may get drafted where he is in a committee...was hearing Eagles. So, I decided to accept it now. Maybe I am a sucker for the Shannahan offense but I also think Thielen is no slouch himself.

It was my 1.02 for his McKinnon/Thielen/2019 3rd

We start: QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/K/SuperFlex/Flex(RB/WR/TE)/Flex (RB/WR/TE)
12tmSuper

QB: Wentz/Winston/Fitzpatrick/Sudfeld/Gabbert
RB: Melvin/Kamara/David Johnson/McKinnon/Ballage/Ronald Jones/Gio/Rod Smith/Ware
WR:Evans/Julio/Keenan/Tyreek/Godwin/Foster/Cole/J.Matthews/J.Grant/David Moore/P.Richardson
TE: Ertz/Doyle/Gronk/Johnnu Smith/

Taxi: Trevor Lawrence/Jonathon Taylor/Zamir White/Jake Fromm/Brian Hill/Chase Edmunds

I voted for the players. I'm not sure how to rate it with superflex, but seeing as you can start 7 RB/WRs, I'd probably prefer the 2 to 1 starter count. I see you could use another QB, but I think you'll be fine this year and can make that a focus next year.

TE- G. Kittle, Enron, C. Herndon

I don't think anyone got ripped off and would assume most would prefer the Thielen side, but I'd rather have the 1.02...fair deal for me though.

I'd prefer the 1.02 but I think it evens out with the amount of starters you have to play each week.

Initially thinking the 4 quarters equals a dollar theory. Then saw the starting requirements. Fair. No one got hosed.

I think it's more four quarters for a shiny coin, the value of which has not been determined. The 4 quarters for a dollar theory should be reserved for the "dollar" being a known commodity, IMO, which Guice or Chubb or whoever is not. They could end up being a buck fifty, they could end up being worth less than a buck. That's my two cents, anyway. (See what I did there?)

EDIT: If we want to get technical, there are not 4 pieces being given, either

I'd take the 1.02...don't think Mckinnon will succeed as the main back....

I don’t like it. I would have much rather have gotten a better singular asset for the 1.02 than the package you received. I like McKinnon, but I’m not a Theilen fan and feel like you were already pretty solid at WR to begin with. I’d have rather taken Guice, the top QB, or most likely waited till on the clock to sell.
