1.04 - Draft Advice Needed

Hey All,

We had 1 team quit and is not going to be replaced so all of his players are also getting put back into the draft. Some of the mentionables are the following:

Alex Collins
Samaje Perine
Kelvin Benjamin
Brandin Cooks
Corey Davis
Delanie Walker

Would you take any of these guys over say a Chubb, Barkley, Sony, Guice if they were still available at 1.04? Not sure what direction the teams ahead of me are going to go, so it is very possible either rookies or these vets will be available to me. Not sure which way to go.

Cooks and Davis for sure. Wouldn't even consider Collins, Perine or Walker anywhere in the 1st round.

How does that work with losing one team? Odd number of teams???

Yeah we had an odd number of teams and wanted to get back to an even number. Nervous about Davis as he has not really proven himself yet, and he seems limited on the Titans.

I like Davis here. He was hurt and missed a lot of time early and really came on down the stretch, of healthy he should make a big jump this year. The only issue is your team is rbneedy and if one of the top rbs are available I’d most likely grab one of them.

Same. Wouldn't be surprised if your draft went Barkley, Cooks, Davis, and then Guice fell to you.

League probably should done a dispersal type draft not toss all players into the rookie/FA draft. Those teams with higher picks get dibs on some pretty nice players. Maybe reverse order late place team gets first pick and winner goes 12 in a two round draft, then rest of the players goes into the rookie/FA draft.

Out of those I prefer Cooks, but can't fault someone for preferring Davis. If you could grab Guice that be a solid win

choice is between cooks and either Sony or Chubb IMO ( assuming guice is off the board )

landing spot dependent. Leaning cooks if you already have a decent RB core

Unfortunately, my RB core needs some work -- so kinda torn if Guice, Sony, or Chubb are available with Cooks or Davis still on the board.
