1.10 + Collins for 1.5
1.10 + Collins for 1.5
I was offered my 1.10 + Collins for his 1.5. My first thought is no, as pre-draft 1.4 seems to be the drop off for top level vs next large group. My only thought is post draft landing position could expand from 1.4 to 1.5 with at least 1 player landing in a great spot??
I like Collins but concerned the Ravens don't like him as much as me and he is lost in a committee.

Re: 1.10 + Collins for 1.5
collins is a guy that is worth giving up before the draft if you can. his value won't be stable until the season starts and he beats out dixon and/or a rookie back (neither of which is a lock). This looks like a fair trade.
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

Re: 1.10 + Collins for 1.5
snag that 1.5 now. i like it better before the draft, and as stated by @BigBawseRoss the value will only escalate once the draft goes down.

Re: 1.10 + Collins for 1.5
I'll be in the minority here and go with 1.10 + Collins. Collins put together some pretty good tape, and I don't think Dixon is good enough to usurp him from that role. There's a significant tier break at the 1.04, and I don't see a ton of difference between the player available at 1.05 or 1.10 - they're all in tier 3 of draftable prospects.
You'll have one of these players drop to you if you stick with 1.10: Penny, Rojo, Ridley, DJ Moore, Sutton, Freeman.
Unless you absolutely love Penny or Rojo, I wouldn't do the deal. For me there just isn't a massive gap between that group, definitely not an Alex Collins sized gap.
Fun Bit of Trivia: from week 8 onwards (the back half of the season), who had more points: Fournette, Jordan Howard, Kareem Hunt, Freeman, Collins, McCaffery, Henry, Mckinnon, Mixon, or Drake?
Answer: Alex Collins. He was the RB8 in both standard scoring and ppr leagues from week 8 onwards. Now you might think, that can't be correct, maybe some of those guys were hurt...well Collins also had more points on a per game basis when compared to all the above listed RBs. Some ppl here either don't watch a ton of Ravens games, have an irrational love for Dixon to steal work, or are simply just underrating him.
*If the Ravens don't draft another RB, and Collins was somehow in my rookie/FA draft, he'd be a consideration at pick 1.05, and right there in the mix of tier 3 draft prospects. The lack of draft capital is hurting his stock, but he's only 23 and looked the part in College. You're not doing your homework if you simply dismiss him.

Re: 1.10 + Collins for 1.5
Wow easily 1.05 Collins is nothing special and the drop off to 1.05 for RB is not like it’s a cliff. There will be a much better back than Collins there guaranteed.
