Keenan Allen Vs Davante Adams

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

The gap certainly closes some in that format as Allen should have a solid advantage in receptions whereas Adams will likely catch more TDs. I think most of us were discussing value in PPR like the OP’s league.
ahhh yes, missed that it was Full PPR. I still prob wouldn't move a first, but I can see the logic behind making a 2nd bridge the gap in that format.

There is zero chance I'd add a mid 1st to Adams for Allen. I'd say Allen = Adams + 2nd at the very most.

I was also going to point out that this is PPR. I play standard and not sure I'd give my Adams for Allen straight up. In PPR I might, but my concern is lies in Allen's injuries (I get the were flukey and not really likely to recur, but still) and Rivers' age. I also think more competition is coming for Allen's targets (Henry 1 year better, Mike Williams healthier).

Even in PPR I'm not sure I could get myself to part with much on top of Adams for Allen. I think Adams busts out further this year as ARod's #1.

Both players are essentially dependent on different stats. Every yr Allen is good he gets about 160 targets (~10 per game), while Adams is propped up by his TD stats.

Everyone says that you can't count on TDs, but the number one WR for Rodgers (averages 35+ TDs per year) is the exception to the rule. Will Allen continue to get such high target volume? Maybe? Hopefully for Allen owners.

It basically comes down to player preference. For me, I'd rather have the WR on the high powered offense.

I wouldn't move Adams strt up for Allen.
Yeah I'm with you. Plus the age difference Rivers to Rodgers if that matters.

I'd prefer Allen over Adams but I think adding more than an early 2nd is an overpay. Based on things I've read in the forum Allen is worth about 1.02 and Adams is 1.04ish. No way I'm adding a mid first to bridge that gap.

I think it’s pretty sixes between the two. If we’re being pedantic, maybe a late first on top of KA to make the move, but not much more, if anything.
Team 1

WR: Jefferson, Adams, Metcalf, Godwin, Ridley, Lockett, Cooks
TE: Kittle, Njoku, Gesicki

Team 2
12-team, PPR | 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX

QB: Wilson, Jones
RB: Robinson, Gibbs, Mixon, Sanders, R. White
WR: Lamb, Godwin, Lockett, Addison, D. Johnson, Meyers, Campbell, R. Moore
TE: Kincaid, Dulcich, Fant

As far as targets KA got 159 to Adams 118, who missed 2 games and lost Rodgers for half the season.

If Adams gets 160 targets he's going to post monster numbers

That's actually not out of the question as Jordy got 152 and Adams got 121 in 2016.

Adams has turned target totals of WR 20(targets) into WR 11 (2016)

and

WR 15(targets) into WR 9 (PPG) 2017

This is where I'm at also. Favor Adams slightly to Allen... Prob early to mid 2nd difference
