Njoku or rookie?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I doubt Njoku makes it past the late first

Definitely take him with your 2.2 if he lasts that long. On draft day, you might want to see if you can bundle a 3rd or future second to get to 1.11-12 if he's on the clock available then
Team 1- 10 team ppr, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flx, 1D, 1K

2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex

Thanks for all the advice. I was really hoping to get John Kelly with the 2.2, but with Reed, I’m needing some youth and health at the TE position.
10 team 0.5 PPR, QB, 2 RB/WR, Flex, TE
QB: Andrew Luck
RB: Ajayi, Drake, Cohen, Jamaal Williams, Carson
WR: OBJ, Julio, Fitz, Watkins, Crabtree, Enunwa, Matthews
TE: Reed
2018 picks: 1.02, 1.06, 4.02, 5.02...

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm gonna get all hot take-y here, lol. I think the top of this tight end class coming is out is BETTER (for fantasy) than last years coming out (last year had a lot of interesting depth that is missing this year though) . . . Eliminating what last years guys have already actually done in the league . . . as prospects for fantasy, I have a higher grade for Goedert than I had OJ Howard last year pre-draft, I have Gesicki rated higher than I did Njoku (barely), I have Andrews graded equal to what I had Engram (will likely be wrong here in the end), and I have Hurst graded a little higher than Everett, whom was my TE4 pre-draft. From there, last year had guys like Kittle, Jonnu, Hodges, Shaheen, Roberts, Leggett, Sprinkle, Butt and Hollister, whom I all liked as fliers. This year is a little thinner, but does have guys like Ian Thomas, Fumagalli, Akins, Conklin, Samuels, and Yelder, all of which I have some level of intrigue in, pre-draft.

With that said, right now, Njoku has a lot more value than any of the rookie tight ends, lol, and I would trade up if you want him.

So I made an offer which I was happy with but don’t know if it’s appealing to the other side... 1.08 for Njoku + 1.14 (16 team IDP league). Is that a tempting offer?

FWIW, I always try to offer deals that are fair to both sides rather than trying to squeeze every last ounce of value for my team.

My bet is you'll need to move up to get him. Can't see anyway he gets past 9-10 range (6 maybe 7 backs and maybe few WRs worst case). Personally I'd take him around 7 spot.
My PPR dynasties (QB/RB/WR/TE/FL):

Under construction...just noticed teams I had shown were very different than where they are now (lots of trading last 12 months). LOL

I thought I liked Njoku as much as the next guy, but you guys are definitely fans. For all the preaching about TEs taking time and wait to buy because they will be cheaper, y’all seem to throw that out for David. He’s worth the the 1.08 range now? Or at least the concensus is he is worth the 12th pick in this year draft if not higher. So he gets no discount and actually receives a bump after doing very little as a rookie, and now having Landry, Plus Gordon after a full offseason for once, a (possibly) healthy Coleman, and the catch-it-all Duke Johnson. Even though I like Njoku so it’s hard, im going against the community and saying I’d gamble and wait till 2.07 to see if he’s there. Seeing as how he’s a FA he may not be as highly valued in your league as he is on these boards.
