What’s the 1.02 worth

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What’s the 1.02 worth

Postby ErecSean85 » Wed Apr 18, 2018 11:53 am

SF startup league. I need RB help so planned on taking Guice. Have an owner who’s not super attached to Hunt. What would I have to put on top of the 1.02 to steal him away?

Hunt = 1.02, so at most I'd add a 2019 2nd.

Agree (and find that many value the 1.02 slightly more). I'd probably offer little later pick and see what happens, especially if other owner doesn't love Hunt.
My PPR dynasties (QB/RB/WR/TE/FL):

Under construction...just noticed teams I had shown were very different than where they are now (lots of trading last 12 months). LOL

If I was an owner who rejected Hunt for 1.02, there is no scenario in which a 2019 2nd changes my mind. That type of stuff works great on a trade calculator but why would you change your mind on moving a stud because of a future 2nd round pick..seems crazy

If you need to add anything, would pass.

I agree with most, I wouldn't add too much more. If a 2nd doesn't get it done, which it probably won't, I'd just take Guice and be happy with it. Although in a SF, I'd consider taking a QB with the 1.02, but without seeing your roster, can't really tell which one makes more sense.

I also have the 1.03, which will be a QB. Startup year, auction draft.

I'd rather draft Guice, I think he will be better than Hunt.

I’d want a 2019 first added. Maybe Guice will be the real deal but Hunt already showed what he can do his rookie season and I think the volume will continue because Reid saw what happened when he started limiting his carries during that 4-5 game stretch last season. You could try the 1.02/2019 2nd but I think that would be a cheap price for Hunt.
