Was this too much to pay for OBJ?

I'm in the process of a startup right now so I don't have full teams yet. But a couple days ago I made a trade for OBJ. I'm of the mindset that if you want to acquire a stud, you have to overpay a bit, especially if you're getting a top 2 dynasty asset but did I overpay here?

I gave: Kennan Allen, 1.04, 2.04, 2019 1st, 2019 2nd, Chris Godwin

I received: Kirk Cousins, Kenny Gollady, Derrick Henry, and OBJ

Did I pay too much or is it worth it?

Keenan Allen + 1.04 >= OBJ
Cousins = 2.04
Golladay >= Godwin
Henry >= 2019 1st + 2019 2nd

Seems pretty fair for both sides.

You didn't overpay. I think I prefer the Allen side, but it's very close and I think you could make a compelling argument for either group.

Not a terrible trade but I probably wouldn't have done it. But if you really wanted OBJ, like you said, you gotta pay up. I wouldn't worry about it

it would be too much if you got just OBJ, but not by a whole lot. The other parts aren't trivial though.

Golladay for Godwin is kinda a throw in for a trade this big, so lets get rid of that. Cousins has some solid value, to me that can maybe wipe out the 2019 1st. Certainly the 2nd if not. Henry and the 1.04 is pretty dang close by my evaluations. So we're left with Allen, 2.04, and a 2019 1st or 2nd for OBJ. Not even close if you ask me.

I'd have to see a full roster and rules to give a better answer, plus theres bound to be disagreement with my above valuations. But with just this, you didn't even overpay, let alone overpay too much.

I don't think it's "too" much, but depending how team looks after completed startup my preferred side might change

Pretty even trade. I'd have a personal preference to the OBJ side but its not by much.

I'm probably higher on Allen than most, but I'd pay that for OBJ and Henry pretty easily.

At first I thought you paid all of that for OBJ when reading the deal then saw Henry, and a QB 1 coming back to you.
