Gurley or Cook/Mixon (new poll)

Hey guys,

Last October 31st I posted a poll asking which side was the better deal...

Todd Gurley or Dalvin Cook + Joe Mixon

The response was overwhelming that the Cook/Mixon side was better than Gurley (24 to 3 in favor of Cook/Mixon)

Then Gurley finished the season #1 and destroyed everyone he played against in the finals. Ironically, I lost to the guy who I turned down for the Gurley deal thus costing me $1,200 and the championship

At that time I strongly regretted not taking his offer. Now, I am curious what everyone's thoughts are six months later

Would you still turn down Gurley for Mixon/Dalvin if it that deal were offered to you today?

I would still take Cook & Mixon personally.

Yes, Gurley had an amazing fantasy football championship stretch.
However - I would be astonished if he does not regress in a big way. I think after an off-season of tape and teams looking at what the Falcons did, there is a clear way to give Gurley a hard time.

It's part of why I think the Rams added Cooks to be honest - they know they need more help in the passing game as Gurley clearly cannot do it all for the team on offense.

Even reading back in the old thread - the common disclaimer everyone mentioned was Gurley helping you win the title that year.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts. I probably should have mentioned my team in the post to see if that influenced anyone's opinion

I also have D.Johnson, LeSean McCoy, J.McKinnon and Ty Montgomery... along with Cook and Mixon

We can only start 4 RB max each week so it just got me thinking again.

That's a great offer, but I don't see any Gurley owner giving him up for that. I know I wouldn't. Way too much risk associated with those 2 guys

Depends on what your roster is like, I'd probably still go with Cook and Mixon. It's not unlikely that one or both of those guys are near the same tier as Gurley this time next year.

I’d go Cook/Mixon unless I already someone like Zeke/Bell and was clearly in a position to win now.

This. You have a guy that is young, won leagues last year, and is entering his prime. Why would you trade him for two guys that haven't done anything yet? I'd need at least one piece that is an established producer plus a Mixon type.
