1.01 vs. 1.02+1.03

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.01 vs. 1.02+1.03

Postby LaDarius » Mon Apr 09, 2018 3:34 pm

Which side has more value (in a vacuum): 1.01 or 1.02+1.03?

Assume PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE.

Thanks for all input!

Value? I guess right now 1.01 based on other trade offers I've seen, but I'd rather have the 1.02 and 1.03.

I would rather have pick 2 & 3 with relative ease.

not in a vacuum, 1.01. Barkley's hype train is strong.

Reality, 1.02 and 1.03. Bust rate is about the same for all three picks, so your odds are better that you'll get a fantasy relevant player. If all three hit, unless Barkley is the second coming, you'd probably get more fantasy points from two studs than one super stud.

I am shopping the 1.01. One of the owners has 1.02, 1.03, 1.07 and 1.08. He won't consider the 1.02 and 1.03 for the 1.01 even though he has sent offers for it. I would take it.

1.01.

Without an elite WR in this class, give me the guy in a tier of his own. After Guice, all the talk is about picking based on landing spot. I'd rather leave that for someone else.

This. Each league is different. If you can get more for the 1.01, you obviously do it, but ultimately what somebody else did in another league is irrelevant if this is the best you can do. It boils down to which side is better, and for me, 1.02 and 1.03, "with relative ease".

Not for me it isn't. My 1.03 is all but set in stone, but I can't comment until after the draft, as I own the 1.03, and others may be watching. :shifty:

Pre-draft at this point I would take Guice and Michel over Barkley. This is a good dilemma...

1.01 for me. I understand 2 shots vs 1 but the tier break from 1 to 2 this year is Elliott to Henry imo.

As of right now I would take 1.01

Most drafts I would take 1.02 and 1.03

Potential to change mind after seeing landing spots
12 team league - 1/2 ppr, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE)

QB - Dak Prescott , Alex Smith, Sam Darnold
RB - Ezekiel Elliott , Carlos Hyde , James White, TY Montgomery, Ronald Jones
WR - Mike Evans , Davante Adams , Dez Bryant, Robby Anderson, Zay Jones, Courtland Sutton
TE - Hunter Henry, Tyler Eifert, Rico Gathers, RSJ
