Players you’re avoiding like the plague

Might be age, might be system or it might be you just don’t like them. Maybe you’ve read the ti leaves or it was said in your fortune cookie who you need to drop.

Name the main stream players you want no share in. Even going so far as to trade them from your team.

For me I just dealt Melvin Gordon. Point wise he’s consistently been a RB1, but I have a feeling his efficiency is becoming an issue for the bolts and he could start losing a segnificant load of his carries. He’s a good back that has a nose for the goal when on the line but when I watch him, he doesn’t appear to have the same “killer mentality” that the other top back have that allows them to finish runs.

I know I sound like a total tool for not remember the specifics but in a game last year he broke a 50-60 yard run. The run ended in the middle of the field with him running out of gas and doing a summersalt like 15-20 yard from the goal line. I remember thinking, I’m pretty sure zeke, gurley or DJ would have finished that run.....

I dealt him before his value goes down any further.

Funny, I'm the opposite. I have acquired him relatively cheap in a few places. Don't believe the "Rodgers doesn't use his TE" narrative. He's never had a TE that presents the mismatch JG does.

I am avoiding A Rob. Price and situation. He's had 2 season ending injuries in 4 years, not a fan of Trubisky, and Nagy has shown to spread the ball around. DJ is too expensive. Glass QB, no WR's capable of keeping the safeties out of the box, and poor OL. Andrew Luck, unless he learns how to throw left handed. No interest in Saquon or the 1.01 pick, either for the price. I'd much rather have the 1.03-1.06, as I feel that is the best bang for the buck in this years draft.

Don't trust Hyde this year- mainly because of the unknowns around Cleveland right now. I suppose I'm probably avoiding anyone from the Browns until we know how the draft plays out.
I'm skeptical on Woods in LA and Robby Anderson repeating their breakout seasons.

Avoiding any overvalued player. Amari Cooper king of drops. Kamara production has to go down. K.hunt is slow and overrated too imo for his price tag. Avoiding all three of those for their current price tag.

Joe Mixon - traded him away for Cooper the one place I had him (and I am pretty low on Coop, just hope theres hype or he starts strong so I can sell). I think he will not come close to expectations.

Most other players are not on my rosters and will not be; long list of players I have zero interest in acquiring but I am not a "buy high" guy.

Davante Parker. Miami looks like a mess and he's getting to the point where his value isn't insulated by being a first round draft pick. Another bad or even moderately disappointing season and his value will plummet.

Prior to the draft, all RBs not named Gurley, Bell, Zeke, DJ or Fournette.

Any patriots player not named Brady.

Njoku. Still raw and I think Tyrod gives targets to Gordon/Landry, followed by Duke/Coleman, then Njoku. He'll have a lot of snaps to work on his blocking I guess.

Diggs. 2nd round startup value. He's probably the Vikings 5th best red zone threat. He has not broken 1,000 yards (903 in 16'). He gets hurt every season and misses games or plays less effectively.

AROB, not sure i like his production there in chicago and coming off an injury ...too much risk for his price
Jordan Howard- Not sold he's a stud asset for much longer
Jay Ajayi- doesn't seem to get much work and may be replaced
Tevin Coleman- Overrated imo
Hyde- Cleveland doesn't even know what their doing there..will end up being too many mouths
Thielen- will see production drop
