Rate My Team [POLL]

Postby WhatWouldDitkaDo » Fri Apr 06, 2018 10:54 am

I'm very bored on this slow Friday at work, especially with MFL down. I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on my team in sig (won the title last season). Please reply with any general suggestions as to how to improve this roster. Thanks in advance.

I gave you an A-, but was considering B+. Love the roster outside of RBs. Still think it's good enough to compete, but McCoy maybe has one more year and I'm not as sold on McKinnon as you are (since we've already debated this, I won't go too much into it lol). I'd either stay pat and go for it all with some minor moves, or sell guys like McCoy and Julio during the season when their values are higher and retool a little.

Looks like a contender to me again, assuming health, of course. Pretty much agree with Goddard, go for it all and if something goes wrong, try to sell off some older players to retool.

Gave you an A. Would be A+ if McCoy were somebody younger with comparable fantasy output. I'm a McKinnon believer.

Not a 10 but it’s a pretty little thing. I’d def at least buy your roster dinner and try to take it home.

Gave you an A-. RBs were the reason. McCoy is getting old and I'm a big believer in the cliff and I think he's going to fall off soon. McKinnon is still a relative unknown since he's never been the guy. Burkhead is good but he's also a Pat and their usage is hard to predict. Foreman is recovering from injury and isn't even the starter yet.

I'd look to trade off Julio for a young RB. It's nice that you only have to start 2 WRs.

Yeah RB is definitely the weakest area of my roster. I'm definitely going to explore some trades during the rookie draft, maybe grab an established RB + a pick for Julio or something along those lines.

Graded B+ because of RBs.

What to do? Can you move one of your QBs, Burton or Doyle, Jordy or Sanders for a lesser RB? Maybe someone like a Drake, Miller, Duke...

Most would say you don’t have the assets for those RBs but not knowing the rest of the league... maybe you might have a buyer.

B+, Too many stud qbs for a 1 qb league. Would try to pair one of those in a trade to get another rb

obviously great qbs
decent rbs
great wrs,
great TE

Team seems pretty good to me just lacks a stud rb

I gotta think you could sell Brady or Brees for Lamar Miller, Kenyan Drake, Alex Collins, Carlos Hyde, or maybe Crowell and a throw in?

I will 100% be shopping Brees around to a couple of teams with tenuous QB situations, but most teams in the league are relatively set at QB. Here are the teams that may be in the market for another QB. Any thought on potential trade proposals?

Team A:
Andy Dalton, Nick Foles
Alvin Kamara, Latavius Murray, Peyton Barber, Wayne Gallman, Elijah McGuire, Tyler Ervin, Danny Woodhead
Odell Beckham Jr, Keenan Allen, Jarvis Landry, Marqise Lee, Marquise Goodwin, Mack Hollins, Trent Taylor, Ryan Grant, Willie Snead
Tyler Eifert, Charles Clay, Gerald Everett, Jake Butt
2018 Picks: 1.02, 2.02, 2.06, 2.08, 3.02 | 2019 Picks: 1, 1, 2, 3

Team B:
Russell Wilson
Derrick Henry, Lamar Miller, Theo Riddick, Doug Martin, Ameer Abdullah, Tion Green, Kapri Bibbs, Elijhaa Penny
DeAndre Hopkins, Alshon Jeffery, Chris Hogan, Julian Edelman, Mike Williams, Rishard Matthews, Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson, Danny Amendola
Jordan Reed, Jason Witten
2018 Picks: 1.07, 3.05, 3.07, 3.08, 3.10 | 2019 Picks: 1, 2, 3

Team A: I don't see any QB for RB trade possibilities, but maybe Brees + 3.03 for 2.02? Or would you try Brees for 2.06 or 2.08 straight up and grab a rookie? Any other thoughts?
Team B: Again, like many teams, he's hurting at RB, so I'm not sure he'd be willing to sell Miller for Brees. What could I add to Brees for Miller? Alternatively, do you think he'd consider Brees for his 2019 2nd? Any other thoughts?

I went with a B+ as well,

I think a few guys might on the downward trend

McCoy, Jones, Brady, Sanders.

I could be wrong, but outside that solid roster.

Close to where I had it. QB is an A+ easily, I have the WRs closer to an A- and the TEs at an A+ (Kelce, Gronk and Ertz get an auto A+ IMO). I agree on RB but aren't we told to build dynasties around everything except RBs? Considering how great the rest of your team is I don't think RBs are an issue.
