Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
Which WR do you prefer? I feel like everyone values Mike Evans right behind OBJ but in reality he's only ever put it together for one year and more or less busted 3 other times, where michael thomas on a down year was still WR6 and Keenan who I know has been hurt so he has only put it all together for 1 year but his tape makes him look twice as good as evans will ever be. They are all practically the same age besides Evans having the younger QB. Thoughts?

Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
I think they are all close...personal preference. I would take Allen, Thomas, then Evans.

Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
That is my thought too, my only worry is the QB situation for the chargers, for some reason I feel like the style of play that Michael thomas has he'll still be a WR1 even with a rookie QB.BradysBunch wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:15 am I think they are all close...personal preference. Apparently you consider anything but a high end WR1 season a bust, which is ridiculous. What Evans has done is no where close to a "bust".Rkerr8 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:08 am Which WR do you prefer? Only 3 WRs have ever started their career with 4 strait 1,000 yard seasons... Randy Moss, AJG and Evans. He's 24 years old, has several elite traits and has proven top 3 overall upside. The Evans hate on here is insane. Basically the same way Hopkins was being treated last offseason and look at how that turned out.
Evans > Keenen > Thomas
All are great I worry about Thomas after Brees is gone though.

Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
Its not that I consider anything other that a WR1 season a bust but when you consider someone the #1 or 2 dynasty asset and a first round pick in redrafts after coming off a year as the #1 receiver and he gives you a mid WR2 season its a bust. I like all 3 a ton but for me allen and thomas are safer ppr options whereas if Evans has higher upside but if it works out like it did this year you are left with a guy catching 70-80 balls instead of a guy catching 100+ with low touchdown totals.BelichekYourSelf wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 11:37 amApparently you consider anything but a high end WR1 season a bust, which is ridiculous. Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
I’d have Thomas and Evans pretty equal and both top 5 dynasty WRs no question. If I’m picking one I prefer Thomas, but they’re both top guys. I only ding Allen because of all the health concerns, if he was or can remain healthy, he’d be right in the same breath as the other two.
Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
I see them all very similar in rank because I can't decide who I'd feel more comfortable letting go of lol but for me allen isn't "injury prone" as people like to ding him for. He had 2 freak accidents in a row. I'm more concerned with guys like Fournette who constantly has the same nagging issues over and over again making them miss 1 game here 4 games there type of thing. There's no evidence to say that just because Allen tore his ACL its more likely to happen again.sugbear65 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 12:55 pm I’d have Thomas and Evans pretty equal and both top 5 dynasty WRs no question. Re: Allen, Evans, or Thomas?
Allen, MT, Evans... but all extremely close and not really much of a gap at all.
