Russell Wilson Trade Advice

Postby Pats/VikesFan » Thu Mar 22, 2018 10:26 am

Seriously thinking about taking this deal as I am in desperate need of RB talent and I am concerned about Seattle's lack of O-line and Weapons. I hold the 1.01 pick and will be taking Saquon but may pull the trigger on this, as well.

I give Russell Wilson

I get Patrick Mahomes and 2018 1.06

I would then focus on trading the 1.06 to try to move even higher in an effort to snag two of the top RBs.

Which side would you rather have and am I selling too low on Russell?

I would do it pretty good for a 10 team 1 QB league. If Mahomes hits then it's a homerun. If not you find another QB easily. Have you reached out and gauged the interest of those teams in trading down?

Also, even if Mahomes under performs, you have Jimmy G waiting to slip into the starting role, correct? So you're basically dealing Wilson for the 1.06 and the chance to get a decent, if not equal, return at QB.

1 qb league i don't think your selling too terribly low. I voted mahomes and the pick only because both mahomes and Jimmy G jobs are pretty safe. Adding 2 more RB to that roster helps it more than just Russell does imo..

I'd pull the trigger on that. I think Mahomes has a bunch of upside. 1.06 does give you a nice trade piece. Even if you don't move up into that 2-4 range, you'll still be looking at the likes of Penny or Ronald Jones.

Looks pretty even. Comes down to if you think Garoppolo and Mahomes are the real deal. If you're comfortable with them, go for it.

10 teams makes it easier to find a QB, but 10 teams makes having studs that much more important. I agree that value is there, but I'm not sure I'd make that trade. With Mixon and Barkley, you'll have two really good, young RBs to build with. Your WRs are also very strong. Going from Wilson to a lesser QB won't be worth gaining a rookie who may or may not help in your flex.

I would do that pretty quickly. You get the 1.06 and still have two top-10 QBs with Garoppolo and Mahomes.

This for me. Why downgrade a position to get depth in a 10 team league?

I voted to keep Wilson but in a one QB format i could see taking the deal. I would just feel much more comfortable sending out a sure thing week after week and not worry about the highs and lows that may come because of the younger guys.
Team 1:
12 Team, Superflex, 0.5ppr

QB: Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton, Sam Darnold
RB: Zeke, Yeldon, Kerryon Johnson, Elijah McGuire
WR: OBJ, AJ Green, Tyreek Hill, Larry Fitzgerald, Jamison Crowder, Taywan Taylor
TE: Gronk
D: Chicago

Team 2:

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLX, 1 OP
QB: Carson Wentz (3 years), Drew Brees (2years), Eli Manning(1year), Ryan Tannehill(1year)
