QB issue or no

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

QB issue or no

Postby dblj1199 » Thu Mar 22, 2018 10:04 am

I was lucky and won the championship this past season, bragging over. What do I do at qb? Foles is still a back up. Ryan has always been up and down aside from his mvp season. It may come as a draft day trade where I package picks / players for a upgrade. One obvious target went qb crazy last year after I traded him Carr for his 1st, he is rebuilding. He owns Carr, Maholmes, Goff, Watson and Tribusky. His best rb is CMC. Should I try and package some of my rb depth along with a pick to land a qb? Or another owner who is a contender owns ARod and Cousins. My third option is another contender who owns Wilson and Jimmy G (being a 49ers fan I'd love to add him and for him to be the next great qb). Any thoughts? My team is in the signature and all tds are 6pts.

Can you get Garoppolo or Goff for the 1.10? QB isn't that important in 10-team 1QB, but I think those two would be good value.

It shouldn't cost an arm and a leg to get a decent QB in 1QB leagues. I would think your 1st would be enough for someone, but I'd also be willing to add one of your backup RBs to get a deal done for a good one.

Honestly, I think you're fine with the way the rest of your roster looks. Matt Ryan has been super durable, and there is a chance Foles ends up somewhere else on draft day. I'd explore trading like a 3rd for Keenum or Bortles for a little depth. I think someone like Jimmy G might cost too much at this point.
