Brandin Cooks vs 1.02 in startup

I am in a startup, 12 team 0.5 PPR + 0.5 PPFD, It is the beginning of the 3rd round and ARob, Davis and 1.02 are available.

My person rank is ARob, Davis, 1.02. Just want to get some other thoughts.

ARob is coming of major knee and moving to a new team, so this year I am not expecting a WR1 but a few years from now I can see it.
Davis was 1.01 last year and draft capital through the roof. Titans have new coaches and hopefully Davis is not hampered by injuries this year. That really derailed his rookie campaign. I can see Davis reaching WR1 status as the other receiving targets on the Titans are meh at best.

In my mind ARob and Davis are close. Can a case be made for 1.02 over either?

I appreciate the discussion on ARob and Davis. ARob was sniped just ahead of me. Was was then just meh, so I moved back from 3.04 to 3.08. Davis went 3.05. Brandin Cooks is still available as well was the 2018 1.02. I am not that high in him, but he is high in multiple rankings. What are peoples thoughts on B Cooks vs 1.02?

ADP wise they are all very close to each other. Projected fantasy output are similar for the three. The difference is that we've seen ARob put up big numbers, we've seen glimpses of Davis' potential, and we don't know anything about how Guice/Chubb/Michel will do in the NFL. So from that perspective I'd go with ARob. I don't know if the PPFD skews things toward the RB position, if that's the case I might take the chance on the 1.02. It also depends on who you've drafted already.

They're all pretty even. Depending on team need, I'd go either Arob or 1.02 and then Davis.

If you haven't made the pick yet. i would look at maybe trading back a spot or two. someone will want the 1.02 and maybe you can add a 2nd or 3rd for next year drafts. doesn't hurt to shop picks where youre not in love with a guy

I have Guice at 1.02 and as much as I like him, he hasn't played a snap yet. I'm still high on Davis and willing to wait to see him produce. I definitely have Robinson highest of the group. A little worry after the down year and a knee injury but he already put up a huge season and is only 1.5 years older than Davis.

For those who are not high on Davis, is that because of the year he had? Wasn't he consensus 1.01 last year. Based o what you are saying, he would be 1.03 this year. Or is it we rated him to high last year or don't like the situation?

Certainly not consensus. Fournette was the 1.01 in all 3 of my leagues. Davis was 1.01-1.03 depending on the league.

Arob went earlier in startups via adp last year, both were hurt this year, and Arob's team situation got better while Davis' arguably got worse (Mariota regressed and the Titans don't look like nearly the great landing spot they did a year ago.

Basically Arob was already ahead of Davis and I don't see anything Davis did last year to change that.
