OTC Startup SFlex *Update*

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OTC Startup SFlex *Update*

Postby MichaelScarn » Wed Mar 21, 2018 7:27 pm

In a 12 team startup ppr superflex

Currently OTC at 8.07

Team so far:
Goff, Stafford
Bell
Allen, Cooks, Jeffery, Baldwin

Time to get a receiving back? Dion, Miller, Duke, Collins are all here.

Olsen, DT, Dez, Tate (intriguing) are also here.

It’s a TE premium also so that’s why I mentioned Olsen.

***Update***

A couple rounds have passed in the past two days and here’s my selections in order...

Alex Collins
Josh Allen
Greg Olsen
Dion Lewis

Current roster is now
Goff/Stafford
Bell/Collins/Lewis
Allen/Cooks/Jeffery/Baldwin
Olsen

I plan on adding younger TE in the next round. I’m not the biggest Kittle believer just yet so I passed on him the past 3 rounds, he was selected after my Dion Lewis pick.

Olsen or Duke IMO. Dion struggles to stay healthy and never been a miller fan.

Olsen, Walker, Ebron, Doyle, Kittle, ASJ, Eifert, are the top guys I’d say.

You probably need to go TE but I would be tempted to take Collins or Dion Lewis. I know it may be risky but if you could wait and take Collins or Lewis here then get a guy like George Kittle, that could work out well for you.

I like Olsen or Duke. If you go Olsen, I'd be taking another young TE two rounds later.

You didn't mention QBs, but if you're not excited by the prospects in the round, take another starter. It's good to have 3 in SF anyway. Plus they make valuable trade pieces when a few of your leaguemates realize they need another one.

I like this advice.

Also: sad to be reminded of the full collapse of Dez ADP. Not a shock but definitely sad.

Collins will probably fall. If you're looking RB, I'd probably say Duke but would prefer to see options for all positions as I always say BPA and trade later for need.

DT leaps off the page for me depending on the TEs that are yet to be drafted.

Take the best value, don't worry about need right now. I agree with the two above that DT is the most valuable player left. And like a couple of people also said, if there's still a good starting QB left, take him.

Bortles, Allen or kittle. Maybe go kittle to fill out your starting roster. But loading up on qbs in a sf league is never a bad idea
