This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Don't think it's good for Doyle or Swoope.

My trade of Hyde and 1.12 for Kelce gets better every signing lol. Doyle was my starting TE last year on a championship team. His value drop doesn't hurt me anymore at least

Colts paying Ebron 15 mil over two years. That's not just someone brought in as competition

Ughhh.. Kills Doyle and Swoope. Give Ebron 8 weeks of under achievement and Doyle should be back in.

I agree. Ebron might not ever hit his potential but this is definitely hurting Doyle which I have on several teams, picked off on waivers a couple of seasons ago. I would think that if there’s still Ebron believers out there, this would be considered a good landing spot, just because I still think the Colts are going to be throwing a lot next season.

If Ebron going to Indy doesn't help him, nothing will. I think it's a great landing spot for him. No more excuses.

He'll be the move TE and run strictly routes over the middle vs LBs. Doyle will probably block some more and for sure stay in line a lot. Both are mediocre TE2 and Swoope will need an injury ahead of him to approach te2 status.

This really hurts Doyle's upside but he'll still have a startable floor. Kills Swoope tho, at least for one season.

They didn't give him 15mil for 2 years he can earn upto that I don't think he will though so it's not really a signing that makes him have to play

Ebron to Indy is only a so-so landing spot for him. Doyle was given a similar contract last year so it's not like he's going anywhere. The new coach and system come from Philly where they ran lots of 2TE sets. Doyle will be the in-line guy who works the middle of the field and red zone while Ebron will be split in these sets. I still see Doyle being the guy to own with only a slight downgrade from where he was prior to the signing. Ebron will run deeper routes but I'd expect Luck to heave it to Hilton on most of those situations. It's hard to give Ebron much of a boost considering he'll see a much lower number of snaps than he did in Detroit. It's not like Stafford was incapable of getting him the ball.
