Jacksonville Defense Trade...

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What are the scoring rules for D? If it's standard I would take it. Minnesota's D is no slouch, and Ryan may be your best option at QB this year, and is a few years younger than Smith, so it gives you more time to find a replacement, PLUS it gives you the option of playing Ryan or Smith depending on matchups.

What was the total score of both Jax and Min last year? Divide that by 17 for your PPG difference, then factor whether you feel that will be repeated, and if it's worth the difference of Ryan to you. I'd still go with Ryan and Minny, based on the fact that Minnesota should have a strong D for a while as well. I would expect Ryan to put up better numbers this year, and Smith to regress in Washington.

That's over 10 points a game difference. That's a tough one. Jags scored 7 TD's, Vikings 1. Those numbers can jump around from year to year, but this is a tough call..

You need to post full defensive rankings to get a full perspective. Anyway you need QB help.

Defensive scoring is way too volitle year to year. Give me whichever side has other pieces.

x2. Both are good defenses, and defensive / return TDs are fluky.

I'd rather keep Jacksonville. ryan has been awful two of the past three years. Jacksonville's D is young and the vast majority of the talent is in place for multiple years. I'd rather have Jack D unless someone is shocking me w/a major overpay (and I too have no idea what is fair value in pick(s) for my Jacksonville D).
