Preferred startup draft slot

Startup up draft - 3rd round reversal (order is reversed in 3rd round only). What's your preferred slot?

Bottom I would think if my brain is working correctly. Bottom of the 1st, top of the 2nd and then top of the 3rd by reversal?

i have never played in a 3rd round reversal league, so not sure the importance of that

but i tend to agree with topher...it also seems easier to make trades when you are in the middle of the round

With 3rd round reversal you figure:

1st - 1.01 (1), 2.12 (24), 3.12 (36)
6th- 1.06 (6), 2.07 (19), 3.07 (31)
12th - 1.12 (12), 2.01(13), 3.01 (25)

I like the 12th position best and moving backwards in order of preference (11, 10, 9...)

I despise 3rd round reversal. It gives the 11th and 12th spot a massive advantage. It made more sense years ago when there was a big drop off after the first few picks, but the top 12 now aren't all that far off

Agree here I'd want to be 12th if I had the option to pick... it also happens to set up well given ADP with my style of drafting... if you do have an option to choose your spot, look at ADP, figure out how you want to draft and make sure they line up.

Definitely as late in the round as you can if this is how it works out

Thanks all for the feedback! We are using betterfantasydraft to determine draft order. Based on above responses, it's likely most might select slot 12 as top choice so I prioritized as 10,11,12,9,8,7,6...... to hopefully give me a better shot at a later slot.
