Big trade involving Julio and 1.02

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Big trade involving Julio and 1.02

Postby eraldo_coil » Sat Mar 17, 2018 9:56 am

I give: Julio, McKinnon, 1.10, 2.01, Godwin

I get: 1.02 & Dalvin Cook

This might be the best time to cash out on Julio and get a couple of good young RBs.

Thoughts?

I think I'd keep what you have. I'm not sure your WR's can afford to lose Julio. McKinnon will be fine and you can build depth with the 1.10 and 2.01. I like Godwin's future too.

That would give you three dominant RBs. I'd do it, Julio is getting up there and I don't think McKinnon is all that.

Julio=cook
Rest for 1.2....I'd keep what you have right now. Could change with rookie landing spots..

I would make the deal, totally boosts your RB core....not sure why people are saying you cant afford to lose Julio, when you have AB, KA, Baldwin and DT in a start 4 max WR.

I can see trying to get Godwin removed though, or the 2.01.

I’d make that trade but would try to remove Godwin as well

Screw positional need. People obsess over nice symmetrical looking rosters in the offseason and it's a waste of time. Once busts and ww kick in those things look totally different.

To me the two best pieces in this deal are Cook and 1.02, and they're both on the same side. Give me that side, easily.

The trade talks have commenced, and he countered with swapping Keenan for Julio, and removing the 2.01.

Does this change things much?

It's close with KA instead of Julio. I would counter with removing the 1.10 and adding the 2.01 just to give yourself a little more value to make it even since KA is likely to be around longer than Julio. You could get two great RBs and then still pick up a solid rookie WR at 1.10

Very close, but leaning Cook side. You actually have plenty of WR depth and have a greater need at RB, so makes even more sense.
