Jeremy Hill to NE

Postby gerg4747 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 4:23 am

Anything to see here? Bought him yesterday before the news broke for a 19 3rd. What’s his value now?

I don't think a 19 3rd is a horrible price to pay. Hill could have some upside left, just not sure about the Pats...typically this is a place I avoid, unless its a best ball league.

A third rounder is a dart throw anyway, so no waste. He’s still young, guess he has that going for him

I think hill could carve out a role here. They dont seem high of Gilislee. If Hill has a good camp i could see solid TD potential

I bet you could turn that 2019 3rd into a 2018 late second if you put it out there now - could be a taker. Or wait until he has big week early in the season and cash out then.

I’d maybe buy for a late third. Just don’t see NE RBs being trustful week to week.

A third in my 12 team superflex isn't worth much. Compared to the rookie you'd get with that pick, I'd rather take a chance on Hill. He seems to fit the Blount role well. Cincy had a horrible line last year and Mixon was supposed to be the man the whole time. I could see a resurgence for Hill in NE.

Good job buying for a future 3rd. I'd take the chance on hill the same as a dart throw 3rd. Definitely wouldn't buy for a 2nd or early 3rd until we get to see what happens in NE

I picked him up for free after the season thanks to this site or another one. I am happy to see Hill go to New England. For me the upside is the Blount roll and that holds some nice value.

Sent out some offers for late 2nds, just to see what came back (no real expectation of acceptance). 2 dead air response, 1 "I'll give you a 5th". So he's a hold and hope, just like he was when most of us that own picked him up as a throw-in or off waivers.

I like the landing spot. Garbage to Gold? Maybe I'm dreaming...I'm holding for now.

Hold. Hope he blows up week 1. If he does, cash out

If he doesn't, keep holding til he has a good game, like the one poster said

His value holds but I do think this is one of the best landing spots for him.

He was never entering a situation where he would be the clear lead back. This is a situation where he could have a very solid role. I'd hold and hope he pulls a Gillislee early in the season and then sell for a 2nd.

I agree, his value was basically 0 and now there is at least some hope...
