Sammy or picks?

For team 1 below. I have picks 1.01, 1.05, 1.06, 2.01 (11th), 2.05 in the draft. I could get Watkins for the 1.06 and 2.01. Then I could take Barkley at 1 and BBA at 1.05, plus go again mid 2nd.

But, I know Sammy is still a risk and not super loved on this board.. and I'm in rebuild. Who do you take, Sammy or the prospects? Am I giving up too much simply because I have the extra picks?

I'll take Sammy here. If he was in this rookie draft I would probably take him at 1.03-1.04

That is a fair deal. I would personally take Sammy. But in most my leagues the picks are value above him

I agree here. That 2.1 could be the best QB in the draft. And the 1.6 could be the top WR on your board. SOS... Same Old Sammy!

I'd take Watkins. I like him more than any of the WRs this year.

1.06 should be enough. 2.01 makes it an overpay for me.

I'm hoping for a resurgence for Watkins with the new offense and possibly being healthy. Julio had foot problems for the first few years as well and was able to overcome them, but I'm seeing no word on how Sammy's issues have resolved. That said, the 6th and 11th overall pick have good worth with a deep class this year. This depends on how many dart throws and which type you want to carry you through your rebuild.
I wouldn't blame a Sammy owner for cashing out based on what has been delivered so far. You have to decide how he is going to progress.

Keep your picks and build around them. Sammy is too enigmatic for me to trust at this point, especially if that's who you'd be building around.

Sammy’s talent hasn’t gone away. He was injured for all of maybe 10 games in Buffalo and then was traded to LAR late and missed all of camp so didn’t develop any chemistry with Goff. He’s now healthy and will have a full camp, call me crazy, but I’m holding and hoping Reid uses the most talented WR he’s had since TO the same way he did with TO in philly.

Pick 6 should be enough in a 10 team league. That said, Sammy is so polarizing you're going to get Congressional level far right and far left responses.
