Which Side

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which Side

Postby tom14cat14 » Fri Mar 16, 2018 7:02 am

My Tom14cat14 team below

Give: Mixon, 2.09, 2.12
Get: T. Hill, Hogan, 2019 1st and 3rd.

The 2019 I would guess would be late. I feel like this is a must accept because it is pretty much Mixon for Hill.

Yeah I would easily take that. Hill could be EVEN better with Mahomes (but the offense could fall apart if he's not the real deal, so there is some risk)
10 Man IDP, .75 ppr, Big Play Bonus, TE Prem, 2 QB, 1-3 RB, 2-4 WR, 2 TE, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 4 DB, 34 Keepers (17 off - 17 IDP)
QB: Watson, Lawrence, Tannehill, Fitzmagic
RB: Jacobs, Javonte, Drake, Mack
WR: Thomas, DJ Moore, Mike Williams, Golladay, Mooney, Kirk, Shepard, Parker
TE: Kittle, Ito Smith, Ebron, Bryant, Seals-Jones
DT: Simmons, Cox, Oliver, Vea
DL: Bosa, Hunter, Heyward, Greenard, Odeyingbo
LB: Watt, White, Cunningham, Kirksey
DB: Collins, Duggar, J Reid, Clark, Edmunds

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE
QB: Tua, Jameis, Cam, Taysom
RB: Taylor, Javonte, CEH
WR: Jefferson, Nuk, Diontae, Juju, Shepard, Mooney, Robby Anderson
TE: Henry, Gesicki, Brevin, Cook

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE
QB: Russ, Matty Ice, Tannehill
RB: CMC, Dobbins, Sanders. Scott, Mack
WR: Nuk, Keenan, Mooney, Patrick, Collins, Dyami
TE: Andrews, Schultz, Brevin, Akins

I have Mixon and Hill about the same. I'll take Hill side here because I will the extras more.

Depends on if you need a WR or RB more. Pretty even offer.

I will be taking a RB at 1.02. It is my biggest need. But really the whole team is a need. I ended up taking it. I hope Hogan has fast start again this year and I can flip him. This was tough, he has a good team but I could see him not doing as well as he did this past year.

I clicked on the link in your sig. Oof. That team is in rough shape. I think this was a good trade for you. I own both Tyreek and Mixon and I value them pretty evenly. But since you’re looking at a multi-year rebuild, it’s probably smarter to lock up a young WR over a young RB. I also like the throw-ins you received a lot more than what you gave up. The 19 1st alone is worth way more than 2.09 & 2.12, so Hogan and the 3rd are just gravy.

If you wind up drafting at 1.02, you definitely need to go RB, but you might be better off trading that pick for yet another young, proven WR (maybe ARob or Adams?) and leaving RB as one of the last areas you address. Good luck!
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

Thanks, yea the team imploded and I shed my only 2 good players last year. This is the first time I have had to do a rebuild.

I really like Mixon - but I'd have a tough time declining that offer. Only thing that gives me pause is new qb, plus Watkins, Kelce, Hunt - could be a big decline for Hill

I assume those are the reasons the other owner is looking to get out

I think I talked myself into keeping Mixon
Finally on Twitter @dynastybarrett

Hill >= Mixon any the rest of the pieces on that side make it an easy accept.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
