Update: Landry for...

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Update: Landry for...

Postby bigbuck22 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 5:32 pm

I am considering moving Landry to downgrade slightly at my WR3 while picking up an extra piece to hopefully help strengthen my RB or QB position.

A couple of the first guys who came to mind were Thielen or Diggs. I still view Landry as 1.2 value.

Does the community view Landry as the most valuable of the three and if so, what would make up the difference?
If not, what WRs would be slight downgrades from Landry and what's their difference?

UPDATE:
Thielen 1.10 for Landry rejected.

What is Cooper's value compared to Landry's?

I'm curious to see what Landrys value is now. I think it's the same and id say he's 1.02 is close maybe a little low. I'd say thielen and a late 1st would cover it or diggs and a mid 2nd

This is where I'm at too. Thielen owner has 1.10 also.
Diggs owner is new to the league and likes his 1.8. He's expressed a little interest in Parker also so perhaps there could be a package.

I'm still a believer that parker can be something. I'm giving him this season to prove it.

I agree that he's the most valuable of the three you listed. Diggs isn't too far behind though, but I'd need at least a late 1st to close the gap between Thielen.

what I keep coming back to is this: what receiver has been a legit WR1 with the Bills when Tyrod has been at the helm? I can't think of any. Instead, the Bills were where fantasy WR production went to die. IMO, Landry's value was max 1.2 when with the Dolphins getting the max targets he will probably ever get in his career. Now, in a system with several talented mouths to feed, but with a QB who is better at running than creating viable fantasy WR production, there is way too much unknown. I wouldn't pay anything close to 1.2 for Landry right now. So with that said, I've seen a lot of threads recently that have Diggs near 1.3-1.4 which I think is actually fair. Thielen is only lower because of his age. I'm not saying Cousin's necessarily boosts Diggs or Thielen well above what they've been with Keenum, but I still think both will outproduce Landry if all three stay healthy this year. So, most I'd pay for Landry at this time is 1.5. That's not a knock against what he's been, but what I think he will be with the Browns.

1.02-1.04. I think the wr who will suffer in that offense will be Gordon. Even then, Tyrod is merely a placeholder till whoever they choose in the draft is ready. Not sure why diggs has more value than thielen, but I’d rather go after thielen and a late first

I like cooper more. I think he's a early 2nd more than Landry right now.
