Gerald Everett trade offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gerald Everett trade offer

Postby Gator Sens » Thu Mar 08, 2018 10:15 pm

I was offered a 2020 1st, 2020 3rd and Swoop, Vennet or Gillislee for Everett. Is it worth the picks a couple years out or hold Everett? I think Everett could be a solid TE but I feel TE's are pretty tough to judge.

I would accept that offer. I like Everett's potential but he didn't exactly tear it up last year. Plus you're getting a roughly equal lottery ticket, and then another (the 3rd), and then a 1st on top of that. I think you have to accept that, especially if this isn't TE premium.

Easy accept. Any first, no matter how far in the future, seems like a gift.

Maybe he thought it was Engram. I hate picks anywhere outside of next year but that's a deal that should be taken.

I'm not overally interested in either TE he offered coming back. I'm pushing hard for Mack Hollins, Chad Williams and the 2020 1st for Everett and my 2018 5th. Thoughts? The owner and I made a previous trade and he took Everett out of that deal which he regreted. Now he is going hard at him, which is out of character for this owner.

Hollins>Everett, so if this owner even entertains what your pushing for he is clueless. Any first, no matter how far out is it, is worth more thane Everett.

I'm not sure I could get Hollins, Williams, 2020 1st for Gronk right now.. This is completely absurd.

I personally wouldn’t push it by asking for more. I’d take a 2025 first for Everett. Getting any first is robbery and you’re already getting other pieces on top. Don’t get greedy. Take it as is
8 team SUPERFLEX, PPR, .2 PPC, 1.5PPR for TEs, 5 point passing TDs, IDP
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SF, 1 K
3DL, 4 LB, 4 DB

RB- DJ, Barkley, Kamara, Cook, Mixon, Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones, Ekeler, Lindsay, Powell
WR- AB, OBJ, Nuk, Michael Thomas, Adams, Watkins, Josh Gordon, Dante Pettis, Doctson, Tyrell, Josh Reynolds
TE- Zach Ertz, Jordan Reed, Hunter Henry, Shaheen
DL- Watt, Donald, Campbell, Griffen, Graham, Irving
LB- Kuechly, Lee, Kwon, Martinez, Hicks, Eric Kendricks, Edmunds, Preston Brown, Hitchens

I agree. Stop messing around before he pulls the deal altogether.
