Gerald Everett trade offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I'm pushing hard for Mack Hollins, Chad Williams and the 2020 1st for Everett and my 2018 5th. Thoughts? The owner and I made a previous trade and he took Everett out of that deal which he regreted. Now he is going hard at him, which is out of character for this owner.
Stop negotiating. Just accept.

I doubt this deal is actually in the system. If it is I don’t know why you are risking pushing this further. My experience is when I’ve done this in the past it always backfires.

WR: Adams, Diggs, Devonta Smith, Diontae Johnson, Richie James, Van Jefferson, Landry, Duvernay
TE: Kelce, Ruckert
PK: Bass, Dicker
DEF: Ravens, Jets, Chiefs, Bucs
2023 Picks: 2.5

Team 2 (Shakeweight): 12 Team PPR: QB/2 RB/3 WR/TE/Flex 25 Roster, 3 man rookie taxi

RB: McCaffrey, Barkley, Jacobs, Gibson, Dillon, Patterson, Mason, Blackshear, Hilliard
WR: Tyreek, Juju, Diontae Johnson, Thielen, Bateman, Claypool, Landry, Corey Davis, Thornton
TE: Kelce, Hockenson, Engram
PK: Gano, Succop

I will update this evening. The other owner is going to call me on his way home from work to hash it out.

Is Hollins, Chad Williams and a 2020 3rd for Everett and a 2018 5th a solid take or stick with the package with the 2020 1st?

Ultimately the other owner said he came to his senses throughout the day thinking about both deals and we are at an impasse. He offered hollins and a 2020 3rd for Everett. He and I will continue to discuss but the other offers turned out to be to good to be true after his day at work...i can't blame him.

Too bad. Reminds me of my brothers deal making. He always try to squeeze one more nickel or 2 more pennies out of a deal he's already winning and he ends up losing the deal entirely all the time doing that.
