AJG or 1st round picks?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AJG or 1st round picks?

Postby JoshuaGordon_9 » Thu Mar 08, 2018 12:22 pm

Another owner in the league has the 1.01, 1.04, 1.06, 1.08, 1.11. He's offering the .04, .06, .08 for a WR. I own Hopkins, AJG, Thielen, Hilton. I'm not moving Hopkins for that. He owns 1.01, Gurley, and OBJ. Not moving him unless one of those three are heading my way. Is there a WR on my team you would move for that? AJG is probably my best bet, but I'd rather have the known in AJG than the 3 mid picks. Still think he has a few years left. Doubt he moves those for Thielen or Hilton. He has very little depth at WR, and Him and I are the top two teams in the league if that matters.

Maybe there's a better counter where I send a lower WR for picks?

Him: Rodgers, OBJ, Brown, Fuller, Cole, Gurley, McKinnon, Gronk, Olsen 1.01, .04, .06, .08, .11, 2.01, 2.06, 2.08

Me: Cousins, Nuk, AJG, Thielen, Hilton, Crowder, Garcon, Golladay, Hunt, Kamara, Gordon, Thompson, Ebron, 3.01

12T, PPR, 1QB, 2FLX
Team 1: 12T PPR SF no premiums, 4pt TDs
QB(1-2) Herbert, Tua
WR(3-5) AJB, Adams, Sutton, Boyd, Bourne, Wicks
RB(2-4) JT, Kyren, Swift, Singletary, Moss, Ford Dobbins, Tucker
TE(1-3) Hock, Jonnu, Kmet, Kraft
3.06, 3.09

Team 2: 12T PPR, TE premium, SF
QB(1-2) Cousins, Love, Tanny, Trask, McCoy, Zappe
WR(2-6) Lamb, Olave, Hollywood, Godwin, JaMo, Sutton, Diontae, Lazard, McKensie
RB(2-6) ETN, A. Jones, Dillon, Hunt, Moss, K. Miller, S. Tucker
TE(1-5) Hock, Brock Wright, Everett

Team 3: 12T PPR SF TE Prem
QB(1-2) Fields, Young, Darnold, Trask, Dalton
WR(1-6) AJB, Pittman, Hollywood, Sutton, M. Williams, Davis, Meyers, Van Jefferson, Sheperd, McKensie
RB(1-6) Jacobs, Sanders, Akers, Hunt, T. Spears, C. Brown
TE(1-6) Schultz, Hurts, Conklin

That's not a terrible return for Green, but I'd hold if you're trying to compete. See which one of those picks he'd be willing to give up for Thielen.

+1. He's worth a lot to a contender.

I would take the picks...but I always think I can hit home runs Actually did taking OBJ pick 6 a few years ago. But then I struck out last year at 8 taking Perrine over Kamara Hunt and JuJu.

Thats a big return for AJ which you'll never see again. Take the picks and try to make a run for Keenan Allen or MT.

I guess I'm not following your logic... Why give my biggest competitor the guaranteed player (top-20 guy) for draft picks? I know rookie hype is huge right now, and AJG value will prob never be this high, but the majority of rookies don't make immediate impact. I would rather own the guarantee, and have him squandering for depth, than flipping that. IDK just my thought process.

Had Allen last season, and won with him. I'm not a huge truther on him right now. Sold high. Just think he gets banged up too easily, but I know I may be in the minority here. Do like the MT approach though. Appreciate it.

Haha don't we all! I once sold Bell for the 1.02+ Cuz I thought the "Homerun" was a guy named Treadwell :wall: :wall: Ugh, that one hurt. JuJu took a hit going to Pitt (lots of Marty B love out there) Hard to blame you on that one. Thanks though!
