Trade Or Keep Allen Robinson

Just got offered the 1.05 & Cameron Meredith for Allen Robinson. Normally I would quickly reject this trade but is it really all that bad? The 1.05 could possibly give me my pick of WR's from the rookie draft as I also own the 1.04 where I will probably take the best RB left. I figure the first 3 picks will be all RB's too. I drafted Robinson in the first round of my start-up draft two years ago after his monster 2015 season. I figured he would be a great cornerstone player to anchor my team for the next several years. He took a step back in 2016 with a so-so season which may have been mostly bad QB play by Bortles. Last year he tears his ACL in the first game and misses the rest of the season. Two years removed from his best season and coming off a year missed with an injury should I move on by taking this offer? Or keep him and hope he plays closer to his 2015 season stats? I really don't have any experienced proven high floor receivers besides Robinson. What should I do?

I would pass, but I’m fairly high on AROB. Plus, I feel like you could get more once he gets out of Jax, if you really want to move him.

I actually think this is a tough decision to make....I am guessing most would say keep Robinson, which is probably the smart thing to do..however, I don't think Robinson is a sure thing, however, if he leaves Jacksonville and goes to SF, for example, he may exceed all excpectations...at 1.05 you may want to draft a WR, however, it may be a straight run of RB's; Barkley, Juice, Michael, Chub, Jones right through #5 depending on where the WR's go...so my final answer is that it is a little early to make this decision...I would wait on it, since you would be the one giving up Robinson, unless you see a necessity to complete it now then I would probably pass

Majority rules! Thanks for the reality check. Now that I look at Robinson a little closer I see he still finished 2016 as WR 25 in fantasy points which was still ahead of DeAndre Hopkins who also had a down season with poor QB play. Basically a WR 2 in an off season isn't very bad at all. He still had 73 receptions on 151 targets and 4 or 5 big games. I should keep the faith with my franchise player unless I get a lot better offer.

Most seem to have him closer to the 1.02 - 1.03 range, which is where his ADP falls in startups as well.

Additionally no sense selling him for that now. Wait a week and see where he lands. If he stays in Jax he'll still be worth that offer but if he lands somewhere nice his value could go way up.

I'm not an Arob believer. I never thought he was the best receiver on his team and apparently neither do the Jags - they did just fine without him. I absolutely think this offseason is a last chance to sell at a good market value before he has another Amari cooper-esque season. But - there is always someone in the league who thinks Arob's 2015 season was legit. find them and I think you can get a tad more than this.

But - I would not pay this for Arob. I'd rather have the 1.05.

Ask for something better than Meredith. My guess is that the other owner values A. Rob as solid #1WR so if he has a slight upgrade from Meredith he will likely be at least willing to keep negotiations alive.

If not wait as said above wait til you see where A. Rob winds up

So in the end, it doesn't even matter what YOU THINK, or what the other 4 think. The consensus easily says you can get more value.

Arob's value is in the dumpster, at least wait to see where he signs, his value will only go up... Situation can't get worse...
