1.01 trade help

Hey everyone,
I’m in an RealtiySportsOnline league (salaries and contract length...rookies are on 4-year deals, Ppr, 1 qb) I currently have 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.06, 1.07, 10.8, 1.10, and 2 mid 2019 firsts. The guy with 1.01 wants 1.04, 1.10, a 2019 first and Joe Mixon. Is this crazy? What would your cap be on assets to give up for 1.01?

Yeah he is nuts I still like Mixon more than Barkley alone

It’s crazy but the hype around 1.01 has been out of this world. Most I would offer is one of your 1.2/1.3, one of your 1.6/1.7/1.8, and one of your 2019 1sts. And that’s only if I was head over heels for Barkley. If this owner’s team is bad enough that it earned the 1.01, then he has to at least consider that his team would probably be better off with a Guice, a Chubb/Jones/Ridley/Michel and a 1st next year than only Barkley. Gotta at least consider it. Might not get it done, but it’s not worth blowing up your entire draft to get him.

I like Barkley and think he's worth going after maybe even overpay.

Even Value: Mixon +1.04

Overpay: Mixon + 1.04 + 1.10

Too Much: Mixon + 1.04 + 1.10 + 2019 1st

idk I think Mixon is a better talent coming out of college rushing stats weren't even close , I mean this draft isn't close to last years and you could argue Mixon could have went #1 last year

Thanks guys. The guy actually just traded the pick to someone else who immediately sent me a message asking if I wanted it.
The trade was:

Team A gave:
1.01
Moncrief (1-year deal)
3.01

Team B gave:
Aaron Rodgers (1-year deal)
Derrick henry (1-year deal)
Godwin (1-year deal)
1.11
2020 late first

The guy who just got the pick asked for the 1.02, 1.03, and Marvin Jones on a 1-year deal. Not doing that, but could give the 1.02 and the 1.08 plus Jones. Would free up some cap space to get someone else in the free agent auction.

Thoughts? I don’t love Jones so I have no problem parting with him.

Thanks for all the help, guys. Ended up doing 1.2, 1.6, 1.10 for 1.1 and 2.5. Definitely overpaid, but still have 1.3, 1.4, 1.7, 1.8 and 1.1. Then traded 1.4 and 2.5 for Julio Jones and a 2020 first. Busy weekend

I have been trying up until the combine to get the 1.01 and have made some serious/overpay offers. All have been declined. I think you may have more value in the long run keeping/making your picks or shopping them for established players. The price for the 1.01 this year is out of control. I know Barkley had a great combine but there were other backs who also looked really good.

Ha. Yeah...he’s expensive against the cap, but I didn’t need to think long about that one. Just did 1.7, $7 million salary dump and 3.5 for Allen robinson. Hope he lands somewhere good!

I actually don't think it was an overpay for the 1.01...and what's wrong with the previous Julio owner? Does he hate him that much?
