Barkley vs Dalvin Cook

Postby Bulletproof » Wed Feb 28, 2018 7:18 pm

So I own the 1.01 and have an offer on the table for Dalvin Cook straight up. Which side do you like?

I realize the Barkley hype is really high right now, but I thought Cook looked great in the few games he played last year. I also thought Cook would be the 1.01 or 1.02 last year before they combine pushed him back to 1.04-106 range.

I am taking Barkley. I was fortunate to land the 1.1. I was willing to over pay to get the 1.1 if i didn't. I would have gave cook and the 1.4 for Barkley. If I wasn't deep at my positions, I wouldn't have. But the 1.8 and cook would have been a no brainer to give up for the 1.1. so to answer your question...the cook side needs to add a mid first to get the deal done 80% of the time.

Nope, Don't take the deal....if you're serious about taking offers, just keep waiting.

This is a wait it out situation. The ridiculous price of 1.01 is about to get higher once Barkley tests this weekend. Based on what we’ve seen 1.01 go for, you should hold for more.

For reference I moved 1.01 for Cook, Funchess, and 1.07. Maybe I could have gotten more if I waited, but I was happy with that return. Something definitely should be added to Cook to get Barkley though to answer the original question.

Barkley. Liked Cook coming out of college and thought he looked ok in the small sample size last year. That said, I think he will be injury prone and his off-field stuff worries me some. Anytime you mix animal abuse (conviction) and domestic violence, it is a risk I do not like to take. I am not nearly as high on Barkley as most either.
