David Johnson for Beckham?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Standard makes it closer, but I'd still take OBJ by a first or so.

i agree with all of you that it's fair and DJ may have to add a bit...but it's still weird to me how much this forum favors wr over rb. in my league, odell side is adding significantly.

I think DJ being off last year has mellowed the hype a bit. Chasing DJ now may be a good move. Once the season starts his value will go nuts imo.

In a standard scoring league with no PPR, the Top 2 WR's (Hopkins & Brown) finished behind the Top 6 scoring RB's. While this straight up 1 for 1 deal is fair to both teams, RB's are worth a lot more than WR's in standard scoring leagues. In my leagues as well, the OBJ side would have to add something more to get the trade done. Assuming that DJ returns to form, I would hold him and ask for more during next season. You should be able to get an OBJ type WR and then some.

You are right on, and that all depends on your leagues rules. One league I am in you can start 1 RB and 4 WR so they do have more value. And the fact WR usually stay productive longer. Frank Gore is the exception.
