Re: Arob vs. Adams
Adams easily for me... Rodgers vs. Bortles is a huge difference.

Re: Arob vs. Adams
Adams has concussion issues which in this day and age is probably more scary than a single clean knee injury.RightlegTucker wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 12:25 pm I love ARob but no one is taking him coming off an ACL over Adams. Even if you prefer Robinson as a player you take Adams for value. Obvious answer.
I still take Adams, but his concussions are being overlooked here. He had 3 concussions in 14 calendar months. That's Jordan Reed levels.

Re: Arob vs. Adams
I remember last off-season when so many on this forum were very low on Adams. Anyway, a lot changes in dynasty leagues, in one season. I would take Adams now over AROB but I don’t think it’s a huge gap. Mainly, imo, it’s getting a seemingly “safer” player in Adams or going for the upside in AROB. It all kinda depends on whether you like to gamble or not.
Re: Arob vs. Adams
Adams is safer but I don’t see his ceiling being too much higher than what we’ve seen. I think GB will continue to spread the ball around and Adams will be good for around 80 catches and 1000 yards. Hopefully he will continue to produce in the red zone with 10-12 TDs. So far he’s yet to have a 1000 yard season or more than 75 catches. ARob has a higher ceiling I think but more risk.
Re: Arob vs. Adams
I guess I'll just sit here and watch as people call a guy who just had the same number of concussions as CJ Fiedorowicz (who is likely going to retire because of his concussions) over the last year and a half "safe".

Re: Arob vs. Adams
Not all concussions are the same. Just look at games missed (and Adams could have come back for the last two weeks of the season, but, clearly, there was no point).

Re: Arob vs. Adams
In a vacuum Arob. But Adams has Rodgers and Arob has Bortles. That taken into account, Adams.

Re: Arob vs. Adams
Remember though, that season Jax was awful and always playing from behind. A lot of that was garbage time stats that wouldn’t have been there last year. I like ARob and think he has a very high ceiling but I’d like to see where he lands. It could be back in Jax but now with a great defense on a run first team that still has that subpar QB. If so, I would temper my expectations for another monster season.PercyR1 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 7:08 pm A.rob lower floor higher ceiling

Re: Arob vs. Adams
When I looked at the numbers ARob's garbage time stats weren't actually as big a part as I was expecting in his 2015 season. He only had 15 receptions for 240 yards when trailing by 9+ points. Granted he did have 6 TDs on those 15 catches but that still leaves 65-1160-8 when they were leading, tied, or within one score.

Re: Arob vs. Adams
Me either, good to know. I owned him that year in a redraft but it was TD heavy. Maybe that’s why I remember it that way.Vcize wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2018 9:22 am When I looked at the numbers ARob's garbage time stats weren't actually as big a part as I was expecting in his 2015 season.
