Non-PPR, Evans+ vs. 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Non-PPR, Evans+ vs. 1.01

Postby anonymously » Thu Feb 22, 2018 12:24 pm

In a non-PPR (in sig) I have a relatively strong team. Saquon would really bolster my RB corp which is only two deep right now. My WR are in good shape, but another owner is showing serious interest in the 1.01. He floated the idea of Evans for the pick, I said I'd consider it but wouldn't do that trade as of now. His team just won the league and he's one of the top teams heading in to 2018, the pick is nearly guaranteed to be in the 7-12 range.

While not a true offer he later asked if I would take Evans/19 1st. Is this a no brainer? If I took Evans I'd then be looking to fill RB depth elsewhere, likely at the expense of a WR.

Cheers!

That seems like a savvy owner if he's the defending champ offering Evans for the 1.01. I wouldn't accept that deal however it's obvious you can do better since he floated his 2019 1st on top. Personally, I can see Evans value returning to where it was last year. I put him in the same class as Hopkins was this time 12 months ago.

Can you list his RB's? I'd probably take a solid RB vs the 2019 1st (likely 1.10 - 1.12).

Considering your team i dont think i would, i have evans as an elite wr1 still but i think your team would be more balanced keeping the1.01 to add saquan to fournette

Personally, id try to trade ajg(or theilen/dez/woods) and see if you can get like arob+, or 1 more elite wr1(id even do offer like ajg/dez for 1 more young elite wr1

Boom, starting lineup is set and forget for 5+ years

I would take Evans over the 1.01, so adding a first is easily evans side.

Your team doesn't need a WR as much as it could use Barkley. I value Evans pretty highly, and the trade is not lopsided. But even in a start 3WR, RBs are better in non-PPR. If anything, I'd be trying to turn Fournette into a more trustworthy RB plus good stuff.
