Kupp vs. Godwin

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

They’re pretty even for me. Kupp is the safe, high-floor bet. Godwin is more of an upside, high-ceiling play. There’s also a pretty significant age difference for two guys in the same draft class. Godwin turns 22 in a few days. Kupp will be 25 in June.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

A lot of people calling Godwin the high-ceiling play, but it's hard for me to see that. They're talking about moving him to the slot, which is rarely a high-ceiling position, on a team with Evans and OJ Howard, not to mention serviceable supporting players like DJax and Humphries. If anything Godwin looks more boom-bust to me.

FWIW, in a recent startup Kupp went at 5.12 and Godwin at 10.12. Personally I don't think the difference should be that big though.

While this is likely true for 2018, I was using “high-ceiling” more in terms of his entire career. The Bucs may indeed move Godwin to the slot this season, but after DJax is gone, I suspect he’ll be lining up outside opposite Evans for most of his snaps.
