Potential Gurley Trade

Postby keller569 » Fri Feb 16, 2018 8:14 pm

I was having a few beers with a buddy and he mentioned that he wanted Gurley. We started talking and this is where we got. There's no official offer, but I will continue the talks tomorrow. Just wanted everyone thoughts.

Give: Gurley
Get: Hilton, D. Cook, 1.04

Seems like pretty great value to me, but curious to everyone's opinions.

I'd take it as well, but it's pretty close.

Like the pieces but mostly because I can't believe Gurley doesn't regress some. I mean, really, he can't possibly put up those points again...can he?

I like cook a lot and if luck is back to 100 percent I think that's a good deal. I also agree Gurley has to regress a little I'd think

Yeah, I agree with others, if I was ever going to trade Gurley, that would probably do it.

I think the extreme lack of safety is not being addressed here. Cook is competing with two proven and very solid backs + possibly injury prone, Andew Luck is a roll of the dice and the Colts are definitely going to add a WR. That leaves you with the 1.04, which translates to his #2 back. I will concede that it's close.

I'd take the Cook side, but I'm a big believer in Cook's talent.

lol What?
McKinnon is an FA and is as good as gone.
Latavius is JAG and you could say even more injury prone..

Anyhow, that is a good haul for Gurley.

Have to go with the pieces, though...as a Gurley owner it would be difficult to let him go...lol
