Search for QB in 2QB League

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Search for QB in 2QB League

Postby JwazTheGreat » Fri Feb 16, 2018 12:29 pm

My biggest weakness in 2QB league is my qbs (go figure). I have some decent depth at wr and rb as well as 1.1, 1.7, and 2.1 picks. Who would you target and what would you offer?
10-Team 2QB
1/2PPR Starters= 2QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (Pass 4pt, Run 6pt)

QBs: A. Rodgers, R. Wilson, Tua
RBs: S. Barkley, K. Hunt, D. Henderson, C. Hubbard, JD McKisssic, Devonta Freeman, Duke Johnson
WRs:K. Allen, A. Robinson, C. Godwin, JuJu Smith-Schuster, E. Moore, S. Shepard, K. Golladay, Antonio Brown, K. Bourne, J. Reynolds, J. Guyton
TEs: D. Waller, Z. Ertz, H. Henry

A lot depends on how many rookie QB's you think will be taken before your 1.7 pick. I think I'd try to trade a WR for a QB if needed. Josh Gordon and Watkins would be sells for me. Pick out some QB's whose value is a little low right now....Cousins, Tanny, Winston, Mariotta, Carr, etc.

You have Rodgers, so it could be worse.

Given the state of your team, I'd say your best bet is taking a QB at 1.07, unless you can get another low end QB2 for a Gordon, Doctson, Shepard, or Godwin believer.

12 team IDP SFlex league

Start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1SUPERFLEX 2FLEX | 2DL 2LB 2DB 2IDPFLEX

PICKS:
- 2022 - 1.03, 1.11, 2.01, 2.03, 2.05, 2.06, 2.07, 2.12, 3.06, 3.08, 3.09
- 2023 - 5 1sts, 2nd, 3 3rds, 4th
- 2024 - 3 1sts, 2 2nds, 3rd, 4th

QB: Kyler Murray, Tyler Huntley, Kellen Mond
RB: Jeff Wilson, Chris Evans, Justin Jackson, Duke Johnson, Kylin Hill, JaMycal Hasty, Craig Reynolds, Ameer Abdullah, Derrick Gore, Devontae Booker
WR: AJ Brown, Rashod Bateman, Gabriel Davis, Anthony Schwartz, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Tyler Johnson, Quez Watkins, Lynn Bowden, Byron Pringle, Ashton Dulin, James Washington, Freddie Swain, Dez Fitzpatrick, James Proche
TE: Cole Kmet, Hayden Hurst, Dan Arnold, Josh Deguara

I was thinking about trading Sammy for the right QB. QBs are overpriced due to 2QBs so it have to be Sammy + which is tough for me.

I'm wondering if itd be better to trade the 1.7 or 2.1 for a QB rather than taking a shot on a rookie.

How do you feel about that trade with one of the following QBs: Jimmy G, Case Keenum, Deshaun Watson?

I'd move the 1.01 for a solid QB and something else on top. Then at 1.07, I'd hope one of the top QBs falls or just take bpa.

I would move the 1.07+Watkins for any of those three...but I don’t see it getting accepted.

1.07 + watkins would not be enough for me to move Jimmy G or Watson...it might be too much to pay for Keenum...

but without knowing the state of some of the QB rich teams in your league, it is difficult to give much more advice...
is there a team or 2 that has a wealth of QB depth?
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

Yeah one team has all those guys I suggested lol Jimmy G, Watson, Keenum, Bradford, Bridgewater, and Brees. Has already offered me Brees for my 2019 1st.
