Eifert+ for Woods+

For team B in sig. Thinking about offering something along the lines of below. Team I'm offering to needs TE help and has expressed interest in trading up to early 2nd/late 1st. I really don't know where to value Eifert at this point.

Get: Woods, 2019 1st (likely later)

If Eifert had shown any ability to maintain anything resembling health you might have something here, but at this point I'd be surprised if you could get a bag of deflated footballs for the guy.

Forget about trying to upgrade your draft pick a few spots, you would be lucky to get Woods straight-up for Eifert. He had one monster year in 2015 when he scored 13 TD's. Played 15 games in his rookie season but didn't do very much, then 1 game in 2014, 8 games in 2016 & just 2 games last season. He's the poster boy for one hit wonders.

Put it this way, I'm in an FFPC TE-premium league and the only TE's I have are Hunter Henry and Eifert. Plus I am already STOCKED at WR. Despite that, if someone offered me Woods for Eifert straight up, I would jump at it in a heart beat. And I'm not even a huge Woods fan.

Really insulting offer, Eifert has shown he’s as reliable as Jordan Reed (not very) as is living off of the hype of a monster 2015 which was padded by an obscene number of TDs. We don’t know which team he will be on or whether he will ever be fit again.
Woods is coming off a season where he emerged as the number one receiver for an upcoming offence with what seems like a high scoring system, good QB and he himself is only 25.

If you remove the 1st from his side it may intrigue him but wouldn’t be surprised if he declined.

Since Eifert last showed anything there’s been an influx of TE talent pushing his value down, where he once had the appeal of him being one the “young TE talents” since then the influx of TEs the last two years he’s now not got that sex appeal.
Three back surgeries is a massive worry especially at such a demanding position.
Others may disagree but I see him as worthless, There’s about 20-25 TEs I’d have over him
