McKinnon Poll Added - Help me construct some consolidation moves

Postby jeaton6 » Thu Feb 15, 2018 12:38 pm

For Team 1. I went young last year and it worked out well. Runner up with a lot of youth and 6 first round picks, 10 in first 2 rounds for 2018. I have about 26 players I’d want to keep right now plus all these picks and will ultimately only have space for 25+3 man taxi.

Seems like I should try to make a run at 1.1, OBJ, Zeke, and other studs but interested in thoughts here. Thanks.

I'd definitely combine some of those picks and throw in a player or two from the end of your bench to go after the 1.01, or any other stud.

Based on what I see, I could make cuts down to where you need to clear 4 more spots.

Of course, if you can upgrade to studs or 1.01, that is ideal, but another option is to move some of those picks for 2019 picks.

Would love to see what you end up doing! Good luck!

There are definitely some easily cutable players for me but I agree with the previous post. If you can go get a stud I would. Your team could be really good as is, so I would not blow it up to make a deal happen though. Nice work on going young and how it turned out. You have the chance to be good for years!

I would rather go after zeke over the 1.1 in your situation. If you can't get Zeke then I would throw like 2 first rounders and a player for 1.01

go after a stud WR and/or push them out to 2019 which is supposed to be a really good WR crop.

I would be cutting Hundley and looking to make small trades to get rid of one of Dak, Ross, Lockett, Stills, Brate and SEals-Jones which will free up space. I would try and get to 1.01 or flip my 1.9 or 1.11 for 2019 1sts on poor rosters if possible. I think you could make an "overpay" package for any player you want tho with all your pieces and i say "overpay" cuz that's what it will take to get a elite player. Trade Corey Davis, Mixon and 1.7 for a top WR and then draft Guice and Chubb.

Mixon + 1.03 for 1.01
1.02 + Hill for OBJ

That frees up two spots.

I'd package some of those 1sts to acquire undervalued veterans like Gronk, Julio, Green, etc. to complement your youth.

Team 1: 12 Team PPR: QB/2 RB/3 WR/TE/Flex
QB: Wentz, Dak, Cousins, Hundley
RB: Cook, McCaffrey, Mixon, McKinnon, Riddick, Aaron Jones, Joe Williams, Ekeler
WR: Tyreek, Juju, Corey Davis, Martavis, Doctson, Cole, Golladay, Ross, Lockett, Stills, Samuel, Hollins
TE: Howard, Brate, Burton, Seals-Jones
Picks: 1.2, 1.3, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.3, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 3.7, 3.8, 4.7, 5.7

Post free agency refresh. Looks like I’ve got 26 out of 28 slots filled with 10 picks in first 2 rounds to come. In a pinch I could cut Ekeler and possibly Williams.

Not much action so far in this league but I do have an offer of a 2019 1 for McKinnon and my 3.8. He was considering offering pre-SF news and now once announced he sent it lol. I know it would probably be selling McKinnon short but I do need to consolidate and am concerned playing game of chicken too long.

This guys talent is: Luck, CJA, Booker, Duke, Crow, Lynch, AJG, Adams, Coleman, Marvin, Kelce, Doyle (I have his 2018 1 which was 1.3). He projects as borderline playoff team. Should I pull the trigger or shop Jerrick more?

If you can sell McKinnon and a 3rd for a 19 1st that is an instant accept. I would not pay a 1st for Mckinnon.

yeah, you certainly don't need him..but in your case i would be trying to acquire WRs...seems to be your weakness and this draft is not going to help you much in that area...

would it be possible to send mckinnon and a late 1st to get adams? i would send that offer (without rejecting the first offer)...or throw out this offer
give mckinnon, corey coleman, 1.09 get adams

the only worry about sending mckinnon off is that he could be included in a trade offer to upgrade your WRs...
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris
