I am looking to gauge the value of Garopollo, Mahomes, and Stafford prior to forming compete a trade idea in a superflex league.
How much would need to be added to Stafford to get JimmyG and Mahomes? Would I be better off keeping Stafford and trying to land a QB in the draft? I currently hold 1.12.
Thanks

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
i have been following a 2QB 20 team league with 2 copies of each player and i can tell you that both copies of stafford went before either Jimmy G or Mahomes...i am a big fan of Jimmy G, and i would have taken him first, but i think i would have taken Stafford over Mahomes (that one is closer)
i will be interested in seeing the comments/opinions about this

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
I’d try the 1.12. Stafford and the 1.12 for Jimmy G and Mahomes. You may need to add more. The two you’re trading for are highly desireable right now. Garoppolo is 26 and came from the Bill Belichek/Tom Brady line, and Mahomes was just handed an offensive juggernaut at 22 years of age.

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
Stafford> Mahomes for sure. Stafford and Jimmy G are pretty close though. I'd rather have Stafford but not by a ton. I don't think Stafford+ the 1.12 for Jimmy G and Mahomes gets it done but you never know where your trading partner values his guys until you ask. Send him the trade and see what happens.

I don't see that getting done.
Stafford > either mahommes or Jimmy imo, and in SFlex mahommes went 1.6 and 1.8 in my two leagues, and now that he's starting that means he's worth more than that. Stafford could be = Jimmy. So you'd need > 1.6 imo

A 3rd is the highest I’d consider right now on Tanny.bigbuck22 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 10:43 amWhere do you see Tannehill's value?Favrezilla wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 10:35 amI don't see that getting done.

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
Tannehill is worth much more than a 3rd in SF.
As for the initial question, 1.12 won't get you a good QB, so I don't mind moving Stafford+ for Mahomes and Jimmy. Depending on what the other roster looks like, you might be able to do something like Stafford, Parker, and 1.12.

Stafford and Tannehill for Garopollo Mahomes? Does that make me better though?
The other owner is also RB needy.

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
I respectfully disagree. He hasn’t played since late in 2016, and wasn’t very good before he was injured. He’s coming off of two ACL tears and will be 30 years old at the start of training camp, and he isn’t even guaranteed to have the starting gig in Miami, or anywhere else next season. Agree to disagree on this one.

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
I agree that he's not very good, but I'm pretty confident that he'll at least start next season. And pretty much every starting QB in a SF is worth more than a 3rd. Maybe not a whole lot more, but still more.Brian wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 10:06 pmI respectfully disagree. He hasn’t played since late in 2016, and wasn’t very good before he was injured. Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
Stafford is a proven back end QB1 with regular high end QB1 upside, and he's only 30.
Hes worth more than Jimmy and Mahomes, unless you're trying to build an all-hype team.

Re: Gauging Superflex QB Value
Garoppolo + Mahomes >>> Stafford + 1.12. You could argue Stafford is of similar value to either one of those QBs, but to get both in return would require way more. My rough valuations would be Garoppolo >= Stafford >= Mahomes >>> 1.12.
