Going after 1.01 in a superflex. I know, I know. But hear me out.

I have a pretty damn good team in a 10 team ppr superflex, but am lacking a stud #1 rb to make a run. I own 1.08 and am thinking of packaging it with a QB to acquire 1.01 (Barkley). My QBs are Wentz, Cousins, Winston and Garoppolo and I’m thinking of packaging Winston or Garoppolo plus 1.08 to get 1.01 (Barkley). I’m set at WR and TE otherwise to legitimately compete. Am I close with such a package knowing he has only Goff and Cutler/Bradford as his QBs or am I light/heavy? I honestly feel like the value is appropriate and benefits both teams.

In a SF it can't be considered a unfair start. However Barkley seems to be valued (start-up) anywhere between 6 and 20... so if the other team value him as Nuk, DJ, Bell etc. you will be declined. Does he have a low-range QB also (think Foles etc) In a SuperFlex there can be future value in getting a low-end QB in return. Suddenly come week 12 he is maybe a starter and you or another one needs this guy.

His only other QB is J. Dobbs and I don’t feel like that’s anything to place a serious bet upon. With Goff and either Winston or Garoppolo, I think he at least has the starting foundation of QBs with which to build a franchise upon. And I would get the RB that could possibly put me over the top. I’d be willing to add a small piece but probably not more than M. Lee or 2.08.

With this piece of information I ok with offering him 1.08 + either of the two QB. Worth noticing; I am not an Winston owner in any league and is probably valuing him below average.

yeah, a bit of an overpay, but you can afford to lose a QB...i would probably send Winston...but i actually like both of them

If I owned the 1.01, I would consider selling for Garoppolo + 1.08. I would consider but likely reject Winston + 1.08. I'd start by offering Winston and see what happens.
