Le'Veon Bell -When to trade?

I used to hate Bell because of all the trouble he's gotten into in the past, but recently he's become one of my favorite players. I'm in a fairly new dynasty league where this is our first off-season and will soon be our very first rookie draft.

I've totally refused to trade Bell on multiple occasions. I named my team name after him, I recently bought his jersey so I'm very high on him being my franchise players. But I've been thinking wouldn't this off-season, or next off-season be the prime time to trade Bell? He just turned 25 put he's already recorded 1,541 touches(Carries + Catches). This a lot for a RB at his age, you can basically count him as 28 years old if you're going just by touches. He's always claiming to retire, or there's always something going on with him. Bottom line is I don't want his end to come while he's on my roster. I'd rather take advantage of his value while it's at a peak.

The issue now is I've built a team to compete. Although I finished 13/16 I was 5th highest in overall points scored. I'm in a position to compete again this year so I'm not sure if I'm able to trade away Bell just yet. What do you guys think? Should I hold for one more season and hope for the best? Should I sell now if I can get a good offer? What would a good offer look like?

The best offer I've gotten for Bell so far is 1.05, 2019 first round pick(top 5 pick most likely), 2019 first round pick (10-16 range), and Drake. I instantly rejected this offer though.

I know nothing about IDP. That said your team looks middle of the pack. Your Wrs are really old and you might be better served shopping Jordy, Crabtree, and AJG. I wouldn't trade Bell in your situation unless you get a kings randsom. Two mid to high 1sts and 2 solid young players would be a good target. The offer that you got was horrible. Just know that if you sell Bell that you should probably go all in on the sell off then.

With the offers you've been getting, the best time to trade him is never. If you do want to move him though, I think his value will be highest after he signs his next contract.

I am looking to move him now. I don't see him signing anything long term in Pittsburgh this year.

As far as this thread, I really don't think that bell is going to slow down...I'd be buying. Those that want to sell, wait until the season.

I own him and I'm holding him unless offered a king's ransom. I truly think he will continue to be effective until he's Shady's age so he's got at least another 5 quality years left, at minimum. If you're in the position to compete next year then I would hold unless someone absolutely blows you away with a trade offer.

Yes, that’s insulting. I would Want a more proven WR if I’m to consider moving him.

As for the post, his receiving chops will keep him in the top half of RB1 convos for another 5 yrs imo
